Four months later…

          

Austin’s POV

  

I grabbed my bag immediately and was the first on off the plane. It’s been a whole month since I’ve seen Caitlin, but it feels like it’s been forever.

I started speed walking down the little hallway thing that connects the airport and the airplane. I saw the open doorway and braced myself for all the fans.

Wait…No fans. There were none to be seen. All I saw was people walking fast in business suits. I don’t know how but some fans manage to get through security and everything like that to get to me right when I get off of a plane, but not this time. I skimmed the crowds of people looking for her. It was kind of pointless since she wouldn’t get through security unless she was getting on a plane. Which she wasn’t she was just here waiting for me.

I started walking to the baggage claim. I told her I would text her when I got off the plane, but I’m not going to. I want to surprise her, she loves surprises. ;) Remember that.

I found my bag easily. Luckily it was one of the first ones to come around on the conveyer belt. I grabbed it quickly and pulled up the handle. And then I was walking fast towards the escalators that would bring me down to the lobby type area where everyone would meet their families.

I slowed down a little and felt my phone buzzing in my backpack. I stopped and scrambled to find it at the bottom of the bag. I was expecting it to be Caitlin, which I wouldn’t have answered anyway for the surprise purpose, but it was Alex.

“Hey.”

“Hey dude. You on your way home yet?” Alex asked.

“No, almost though. I am going to leave now though.”

“Okay, because…” He paused for a moment, but continued, “I got the things you asked for.”

“Ahh. Thanks dude.” I smiled and started walking again.

“You know its two completely different things.” He laughed.

“Well you know one is for Caitlin and that the duffle bag is for all of us. But seriously thanks for getting Caitlin’s present. I knew I wouldn’t have time to stop and get it because of the tour, so thanks again. Did you have any trouble getting them?” I asked him smiling a little.

“Caitlin’s present was no problem, but as for yours…I faced a little trouble, but recovered when Rob and Zach came as back up.”

“Great.” I grinned. “Alright, I have to go find Caitlin. Hide both of the-“

“I know, I know. Go find Caitlin. Bye.” He laughed.

“Bye, thanks.” I hung up and stepped on the escalator going down. I asked Alex to get Caitlin a special necklace for me. I had it picked out already and I sent him the model and name of the necklace. Its Christmas in two days, its Christmas Eve tomorrow. I did all my shopping for her before I went on my Europe tour. But the necklace I wanted to get specifically for her wasn’t going to be available in the US until after I left for tour, so I asked AC to get it for me, with my money and everything. So he basically just picked it up for me. I have one really, really big present for her. Well, it’s mostly mine, but I want to share it with her. And then another little present that is for both of us to share. So two presents to share.
