-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-Nine-
"It's all or nothing!" Kokoro grinned as the train started to tilt upwards.
"This train is going a bit too fast, don't you think?" I asked as we picked up speed suddenly. "Like, a lot faster than I think it should" I said, flat on my back and staring up at the ceiling as Chopper and the rest picked back up in their screaming.
"We made it!" one of the men outside suddenly cheered, causing a sigh of relief to escape my lips as I slowly sat up. Smiling just a little as I listened to the way everyone outside began to celebrate the fact that we had survived and made it safely over the oncoming wave.
"Hey! Hey, Nami? Skylar?" Sanji worriedly called out. "Are you okay?!" he asked as I looked towards the fallen Transponder Snail.
"Yeah, I...I think so..." Nami shakily answered, retrieving the fallen Transponder Sanil as she looked towards me for confirmation.
"Yep, just took a bit of a tumble is all" I nodded with a smile.
"We survived after all, huh?!" Kokoro laughed. "You pirates' know how to party—keep up the good work!" she grinned as she leaned back into her seat. "Let's not get ahead of ourselves, everybody. We're not through the storm yet" she quickly reminded us as if she had only just remembered that the storm outside was still raging despite us having cleared the wave.
"Yes, ma'am!" the men outside nodded, their cheering quickly coming to a halt as they took what the woman said seriously.
"I'm not afraid of anything anymore!" one of the men suddenly shouted.
"Wow! That was really fun!" Luffy grinned, laughing as he came back inside through one of the windows.
"I'm sure it was" I chuckled, causing his grin to widen.
"I knew you were strong, but that was something else!" the square-haired woman in pink gaped in shock.
"Are you an alien or something? Because that was totally out of this word!" the square-haired woman in yellow grinned, causing me to snort at how cheesy of a line that was she had just used.
"Oops! Sorry about that" Zoro apologized as soon as he came through the window, accidentally knocking Luffy over in the process.
"Nice going, bozo" I snorted.
"Luffy, come here a sec!" Nami suddenly called.
"Huh?" we all blinked.
"Sanji wants to talk" she said as she held the Transponder Snail out towards the rubber man.
"That you, Luffy?" Sanji asked once he was certain that the captain had the snail.
"Yep, it's me" Luffy nodded. "What's up? You save Robin?"
"No, sorry, afraid I'm still working on that one" Sanji sighed. "But Nami just told me why Robin surrendered and all that stuff, so yeah, I know what's going on" he assured us, making it clear that no one would have to repeat themselves and tell him what was going on.
"I see, that's good" Luffy nodded. "Well, anyway, you know what's next—go ahead, give them hell, Sanji" he simply instructed, wasting no time in giving the blond permission to wreak havoc on the officials that had taken our friend away.
"Huh?" Nami questioned.
"Luffy, I don't think that's a good idea" I softly argued, not finding it wise to expect the blond to be able to handle an entire train full of government officials by himself. It's not that I doubted Sanji's capabilities, but that didn't change the fact that he was only one man on a train filled with highly trained agents.
