-Chapter Two Hundred and Ninety-Seven-

"Hey! Hey, you guys!" a familiar and rather unwelcoming voice suddenly called out to us. "Hey, you guys! Young Master!"

"Who's that?" Zoro asked through a mouthful.

"It's those guys" Robin noted.

"Oh? They're still alive?" I questioned when I saw that a good chunk of Duval's men were still alive and well. "Amazing that the blast of that cannon didn't kill them..." I muttered.

"Wait! Don't go!" a vaguely familiar-looking blond shouted. "You can't leave before I get to say thank you!" he waved.

"Who is this clown anyways?" Luffy frowned. "I'm eating here!" he huffed.

"Handsome? Well, obviously" the man chuckled. "But it's me—Duval!" he revealed.

"Wait...didn't his face look different?" Luffy tilted his head.

"I rearranged his bone structure—now the creep's got nothing to groan about" Sanji explained.

"I'm sorry, but did I hear you right?" I owlishly blinked. "You rearranged his bone structure with just a few kicks? Is that even humanly possible?" I frowned.

"Why, Young Master Black Leg, I was surprised after you kicked my face" Duval confessed. "But I can't deny that the results are amazing!" he brightly smiled as he came to a stop beside us. "Look! Look how ravishing and handsome you've made me! I'm a different person!" he laughed, holding up a mirror so that he could admire his reflection. "Wow, the ladies are going to go nuts over me" he bragged as he turned his head left and right.

"I must say, life's starting to look rosy—I love it!" he grinned. "All I want to do now is head back to the countryside and take it easy, but there's no way I could leave without thanking you" he confessed with the slight bow of his head. "I'd be paralyzed with guilt if I did—it's your first time in this part of the sea, so if there's anything we can do to help you out, do not hesitate to call us" he winked...well at least tried to that is.

"Don't wink until your face has settled" Sanji scolded. "Well, as long as you're happy, that's more than enough—if you really want to pay me back, don't bother us anymore."

"So handsome! I'm beautiful!" Duval admired as he returned to looking at that mirror of his.

"So vain..." I scrunched up my nose as the man's narcissism seemed to almost remind me of a certain someone.

"Are you even listening to me?!" Sanji snapped.

"I belong on top of a white stallion!" Duval marveled, continuing to ignore us.

"Hey, listen!" Sanji growled.

"Hey, Head—listen to the guy, will ya?" one of Duval's men piped up.

"Did he say I'm handsome?" Duval questioned, finally lowering his mirror.

"I didn't say anything remotely like that!" Sanji snapped. "Do you want me to turn your face back into the wanted poster?" he threatened.

"Blowing me a kiss is a bit forward?" Duval suddenly snapped his fingers towards a rather confused Nami. "Nonetheless, I accept."

"Woo-hoo!" two of his men whistled.

"I didn't blow you a kiss! I was just wiping all this sauce off my lips!" Nami frowned. "You're so overconfident, you're delusional!" she hissed.

"The beauty's already gone to his head" I sweat dropped.

"Mirror mirror in my hand, I'm the handsomest in the land!" Duval laughed.
