-Chapter Two Hundred and Forty-Six-

"Don't mention it!" Nami hiccuped.

"I'm so happy!" Chopper wailed.

"It's so good to have you back!" I sniffed as the three of us tightened our hold on the woman who was happy to hug us back.

"Granny, you're amazing! I never knew you were a mermaid!" Chimney excitedly laughed as she eagerly bounced on her feet. "I always did think it was weird that you have fins and scales, now I know why!" she brightly smiled.

"How many clues does it take?!" Franky snapped.

"Hey, what's wrong?" Nami asked the second Chopper suddenly fell limp.

"Chopper?" I worriedly frowned as I squatted down next to the fallen doctor and checked to make sure he was truly alright.

"Are you alright?" Robin asked, brows furrowing in concern as she looked down at the now motionless reindeer.

"I...I...I can't move my body..." he shakily answered, looking rather panicked as he desperately tried to get his limbs to move.

"I'm not surprised—don't worry about it, I'll explain everything later, okay" Zoro assured the doctor from the staircase that led up to the bridge connected to the Gates of Justice.

"Hey, Zoro!" Sniper King shouted as he hurriedly followed after the swordsman with Franky not that far behind the two.

'I'm glad he's alright' I softly smiled as I stared down at the reindeer, pleased that he was alive and well. Though that smile soon faltered for a brief second as I now thought about how much pain he must have been in while in that monstrous form of his...

I hope he never has to push himself to go that far ever again.

Owlishly blinking, I soon cast a small glance toward Robin when she suddenly took a seat beside me—softly smiling down at the reindeer as well. Looking around, I quickly noted how Sanji was finally making his way up the stairs to join the others.

"Okay, she's ready—we can leave anytime" Nami called up to the men after checking the ship and making sure it was prepared to set sail. "As soon as Luffy gets here, we'll set sail immediately" she told them.

"Is something a matter, Robin?" I curiously asked when I noticed how intense her gaze now was as she looked at me. Tilting my head, I watched as she opened and closed her mouth a few times. Now looking as if she wanted to say something, but was struggling to do so. Whether that be because she didn't know how to bring it up or was hesitant to bring it up, I couldn't say.

"No...it's nothing..." she eventually settled on, shaking her head as she gave me a gentle smile. Looking down at Chopper, the two of us exchanged questioning glances with one another before I simply shrugged my shoulders.

"Alright, if you say so..." I hummed, knowing that if it was something important then she'd let me know.

"This is a report from the main island front gate—all personnel of Enies Lobby have been collected and accounted for! We have also identified the fifty pirates as well as the mutinous giants attempting to escape the island through the front gate here in the northwest!" a voice suddenly announced over the intercom. "We attacked them with a full barrage of cannon fire, they have been eliminated! All targets are currently presumed dead!" he relayed. "In the island's current condition, the chances of survival are impossible, I repeat, the number of survivors at Enies Lobby is zero!"

"I don't believe that..." I breathed out, looking between Nami, Robin, and Chopper as we listened to the announcement in disbelief.

"This is a report from Battleship Two, the courthouse and the Tower of Law located in the southeast corner of the island as well as the underground passages connecting the island to the Bridge of Hesitation have all been destroyed!" a new voice announced. "The only remaining target is the Bridge of Hesitation!"
