-Chapter Two Hundred and Twenty-Three-

"You said you people aren't real shipwrights, so does that mean you lied about the Merry too?" Zoro asked.

"Unfortunately, no—I was quite honest about my assessment" Kaku admitted as Zoro started to push him back.

"I'm sorry to hear that" Zoro grimaced as the two started to fight. I frowned as I looked from them to Luffy—who had finally pushed himself up off the ground—to Robin who was now standing on the windowsill of the open window.

"Don't go, Robin!" Luffy frowned. "We're not done talking yet!"

"No, it's over—this is the last time you'll see me" Robin said, refusing to look back.

"Robin!" Nami cried.

"Please!" I pleaded as Zoro shattered Kaku's swords, swiftly bringing his and the other man's fight to an end.

"Luffy, go after Robin! Whatever happens, don't let her get away!" Zoro shouted as the rubber man rushed after the raven-haired woman.

"Confident, huh?" Kaku questioned when he saw that the swordsman was no longer looking at him. "You really shouldn't take your eyes off me!" he shouted, jabbing his finger three times into Zoro's torso without a second thought.

"Zoro!" Chopper worriedly cried.

"You bastard!" I sneered as I clenched my jaw.

"Finger Pistol" Kaku grinned before blinking as I growled and drew one of my swords, recklessly prepared to rush right at him. I didn't make it far before my body came to an abrupt halt as Chopper yanked me back.

"Chopper, let go!" I angrily cried as I glared back at the reindeer, quickly taking notice of the tears welling in his eyes as he dug his hoofs into the floor. With a clenched jaw, he bit down harder on the back of my jacket as he desperately tried to hold me back as I struggled against him.

"No! You'll only end up getting hurt and we both know that Zoro wouldn't want that!" he cried through clenched teeth.

"I don't care!" I shouted.

"There, turns out that there are some things deadlier than bullets" Kaku grinned as I wailed in frustration, growing increasingly infuriated with how cocky and proud the man sounded with himself.

"What's your problem?!" Luffy sneered as Lucci now had a hold of his face, keeping him from advancing any closer towards Robin. Angrily, the rubber man soon started to ferverously punch the man repeatedly in an attempt to make him move.

"All those punches and he's not even blinking!" Nami gaped as my sword clattered to the floor, causing Chopper's jaw to fall open as I sagged in defeat.

"Everything's a mess..." I weakly muttered as I looked around the room—looked at all the damage that had been caused because of these people.

"I have him, now go" Lucci ordered as Robin finally jumped out the window, disappearing into the night and leaving us all behind.

"Robin!" Nami, Chopper, and I cried. Tears pricked the corners of my eyes as I looked from Zoro—who was now struggling to move—to Luffy who was carelessly tossed aside by the agent.

"Luffy!" Nami whimpered.

"Z-Zoro!" I shakily cried as the moss-haired man shakily stood.

"I don't believe it! H-how can he be so strong?" Nami tearfully asked, frightened by how easy it was for the other men to take down our strongest crew members.

"I knew you were tough, but this is too much..." Paulie groaned.

"We're not like you" Lucci scoffed. As members of CP9 and for as long as we can remember, we've been trained to surpass the limits of the human body and vow to hone the skills as an instrument of absolute justice" he said, causing something inside me to suddenly snap. "The results of that training of this superhuman technique is the Six Powers."
