-Chapter Two Hundred and Sixty-Seven-

"Even if we use the paddles, those waves are too high" Franky pointed out.

"Eh, no big worry—I'm still having fun" Luffy shrugged. "Waves will take us to the island sooner or later" he grinned.

"Luffy, that's not how that works" I sweat dropped.

"Yeah? What about Nami, huh?" Sanji frowned. "You forgot about her?!" he snapped, annoyed with how relaxed the captain now was.

"What is that?" Robin suddenly asked as she spied something not too far away from where the ship was heading.

"Is that a giant spider web?" Zoro questioned, causing me to tense up as I lowly whined.

"At this rate, we're going to be trapped" Robin said as I started to violently tremble the moment I saw just how close we were starting to get to the gigantic web.

"Hurry, use the paddles! Quick!" Franky shouted, already rushing towards the steering wheel in an attempt to change the ship's direction.

"It's too late, we're already caught" Robin frowned as the ship became entangled in the web, now coming to a shaky halt as its silk clung and held it in place. Looking at its size, I couldn't help but cling to Zoro the longer I thought about how big the spider that spun this web possibly was. Tears soon pricked the corners of my eyes as I continued to whimper and whine, causing the swordsman to raise an eyebrow.

"Dammit! Now what?" Franky scowled. "The ship didn't take any damage and it's not like we can sail anymore and, by the way, I'd hate to see the spider that spun this thing—it's fricken huge!" he huffed, ranting just a little as he took a moment to examine the thick cobwebs that were now entangled around the ship

"What's wrong, Skylar? You're shaking an awful lot" Luffy tilted his head, frowning as my trembling seemed to worsen.

"I hate spiders..." I whimpered, lips quivering as the tears in the corners of my eyes grew. "Big or small, doesn't matter, I just can't stand them!" I shivered, violently shaking my head as I tightened my hold around the swordsman.

"Arachnophobia?" Robin questioned as I lowly whined and nodded. "Interesting" she hummed.

"Is that all?" Zoro softly huffed as he wrapped his arms around me. "Come on, I won't let some tiny spider hurt you" he chuckled as he pressed a small kiss to the top of my forehead, causing me to blush as I tearily looked up at him. My blush only darkened as I heard Robin chuckle and Sanji irritably curse as he was restrained by multiple arms which helped to prevent him from charging forward and picking a fight with the swordsman.

"Well, this is no good" Franky heavily sighed. "Thanks to this giant spider web, we're dead in the water...um...no pun intended" he said, quick to make it clear that he wasn't trying to make a joke.

"Something's not right about this" Zoro frowned as he gently rubbed his hand up and down my back, causing me to relax as my shivering slowly came to a stop.

"It's not like we'd be leaving anyway—we have to find Nami...and the others too, I guess" Sanji said, just barely remembering that Usopp and Chopper were also missing.

"How generous of you to remember..." I sweat dropped.

"Let's head out" Sanji motioned as everyone piled off of the ship. I was the quickest in scampering off, putting as much distance as I could between myself and the web that encased it.

"Hey, Zoro! Get your butt down here already!" Luffy shouted the moment he noticed that the swordsman hadn't followed and was still up on the ship.

"Yeah, this is better than staying where the spiders are at!" I shivered, quickly nodding in agreement as I hurriedly motioned for him to come down.
