-Chapter Two Hundred and Forty-Two-
"Alright, Sniper King, just hold that posture—you are now a sword!" Zoro proclaimed.
"Somebody get me a lawyer! There is no way I'm not going to sue your ass off for this!" Sniper King screamed.
"Whatever you say, in the meantime, I'd like my sword to shut up..." Zoro grumbled, clearly annoyed with the sharpshooter's babbling. "Skylar, go somewhere safe and wait" I only nodded, grumbling to myself about the stupidity of this plan as I made my way off to the sidelines.
"Wake up! Wake up! This is only a dream!" Sniper King wailed. "Why won't the morning come?! Skylar, save me, please!" he desperately begged.
"I would, Sniper King—but you see, neither of us has any say in this situation" I said. "So just suck it up, I'm sure you'll be fine...probably..." I quickly averted my gaze, not having the guts to look the masked man in the face as I said this.
"Probably?! You don't sound too sure of yourself!" he cried.
"Ha...that's because I'm not..." I quietly confessed, only making his crying worse.
"They're good for a laugh if nothing else" Kaku sighed.
"I love it!" the wolf laughed.
"Oni..." Zoro took an offensive stance as he prepared to attack.
"Wait! Do you think we can start off with a different move?!" Sniper King pleaded, his body shaking which in return caused the sword in his hands to rattle. "One that doesn't use swords, please?!" he sobbed.
"That's literally impossible for that man!" I called out to the long-nosed pirate.
"...Giri!" Zoro shot forward, slashing down at the two agents who simply dodged out of the way.
"Ow! Ow...I'm seeing stars!" Sniper King whined after having taken the blow of one of Kaku's attacks for the swordsman.
"Don't move an inch!" Zoro ordered as he jumped into the air in preparation for another attack. "Tiger!"
"Let's just calm down—no violence! Let's talk this over!" Sniper King begged, only to be ignored as the swordsman slashed downwards. Once more, two agents dodged out of the way before the wolf attempted to strike Sniper King.
"Yep, I think my nose is broken..." the sharpshooter weakly groaned in a slight daze.
"I said not to move, didn't I?!" Zoro snapped.
"If it's so easy, then you do it!" Sniper King shouted.
"This whole plan was a disaster to begin with, so stop arguing!" I snapped at the two. "Also, Sniper King, me and you both know you wouldn't be able to pick Zoro up even if he didn't agree to be the sword!" I added.
"Are they making fun of us?" the wolf frowned.
"I'm not sure—maybe they're just that stupid" Kaku suggested.
"Looks like we're back to the rock, paper, scissors plan" Zoro said the moment he realized that this plan of his wasn't working. "Better to lose a hand than to lose the fight" he frowned.
"Are you fucking kidding me?!" I snapped. "Better to lose a fight than a hand sounds more appropriate!"
"No! Can't you come up with a better idea—one that doesn't involve blood?!" Sniper King cried. "Skylar, save me from your psychotic boyfriend!" he pleaded once again.
"No, no I can't" Zoro shook his head.
"Well...at least he's honest" I sweat dropped.
"You didn't even think about it, did you?!" Sniper King snapped when he realized there had been no hesitation on the swordsman's end when answering.
