-Chapter Two Hundred and Thirty-Seven-

"We better keep moving!" Chopper frantically cried the minute he noticed that the floor beneath our feet was starting to crumble. I flinched when he and Nami began to scream when the three of us became caught up in the harsh wind that had destroyed the floor beneath our feet. I grunted as we were slammed up against and eventually through the ceiling as the air carried us upward and all the way up to the roof.

"Ow..." I groaned as I sat up, rubbing my aching back from my harsh landing as Nami gracefully landed just fine on her own two feet beside me. "Lucky you..." I grumbled.

"We're going to go ahead and save you" I looked up at the sound of Luffy's voice, quick to spot Robin, a lavender-haired man, and the rest of CP9 all standing on the building opposite of the courthouse. Blueno appeared to be the only one absent from the group thanks to the fact that he was currently unconscious and sprawled out on the roof not that far from where we were. Staring at CP9, I couldn't help but let my gaze linger for just a bit on one particular member—a strawberry blond who stood quietly beside Kaku. His eyes were a soft, electric blue that paired nicely with his wavy locks that perfectly framed his familiar face.

"It can't be..." I mumbled before quickly averting my gaze elsewhere the second his eyes looked toward me. Looking at Robin, I opted to stare straight at her instead as I didn't really have the guts to look him in the eyes and confirm my fears that he was indeed who I thought he was.

He was the last person I wanted to see here.

"And if you still want to die after we're all back together, that's your choice" Luffy said.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Chopper cried as he tightly gripped his head after having landed on top of it.

"Looks like you landed on your head, you okay?" Nami asked as I gently patted the reindeer's back and pressed small kisses to the top of his head in hopes of soothing the pain some.

"Yeah, I'll be fine" Chopper winced, looking down in embarrassment even as his lips twitched upwards into a small smile as he almost seemed to bask in the affection I was giving him...

Cute.

"But what the heck happened back there?" he asked as he looked back at the giant hole we had made the moment we went crashing through the ceiling.

"Oh, I think I might have an idea of what happened" I said, staring down the same hole in irritation.

"Really?" Chopper asked as he curiously tilted his head.

"Yeah, I think I also might have an idea of who's to blame..." Nami grumbled as she nodded in agreement, the both of us quick to realize that only one person could have done something so reckless as to send an attack upward through the building without thought.

"There we go" Zoro grunted as he suddenly pulled himself up onto the roof. "That was a lot easier than dealing with those stupid stairs" he huffed.

"Are you stupid?! That was reckless!" I snapped as I struck him.

"Ow! What the hell, Skylar?!" he snapped right back as grabbed the back of his head.

"There he is!" Nami growled. "I knew it was you! You're lucky we got out of the way in time—if that thing had hit us head-on, we'd be dead right now!" she snapped.

"Next time think before doing something like that!" I scolded as I placed my hands on my hips.

"Oh, you're here too" Zoro said as he finally noticed Nami, causing her glare to sharpen. It wasn't too long before Sanji finally kicked his way up onto the roof.
