-Chapter Two Hundred and Fifty-One-

"I'm sure you're worn out from all that's happened, sorry to bother you guys" Coby apologized as we made our way back over to the building our crew was staying in.

"Nah, it's fine" Luffy dismissively waved. "I haven't seen you in ages—we got to celebrate!" he grinned.

"You two must be really good friends if the captain wants to celebrate" I smiled

"Hey, you bastards! Hold on a second!" the blond behind us angrily snapped. "You didn't recognize me at all, huh?!" he cried, clearly upset that the two pirates hadn't recognized him the same way that they had Coby.

"Who the hell are you?" Zoro frowned.

"You must know him for him to be throwing such a fit" I said, watching as the swordsman took a second to think before shaking his head.

"It's me!" the blond scowled. "See? Me!" he grinned, pointing at his face as if that was meant to help the two in recognizing him.

"No, I don't see—just tell me" Luffy shook his head, not even bothering to try and remember or guess who the man was.

"Get a clue, guys! It's Helmeppo!" Helmeppo shouted. "Captain Morgan's son, Helmeppo—surely you remember now?!" he huffed. "I had you tied up—you were almost excused because of me! Zoro, you couldn't possibly forget that, could you?!" he asked.

"I can see why you wouldn't want to remember him..." I grumbled, eyes narrowing as I tightened my hold on Zoro's hand.

"Well there, now we all know who I am, right?" Helmeppo asked. "Really, guys, stop giving me such a hard time! I made empty threats—I was always talking about my daddy!" he listed on, giving the two even more reasons why they should have remembered him.

"Oh, that guy" Zoro and Luffy deadpanned.

"What do you mean "that guy," huh?!" Helmeppo snapped.

"Yeah, right, you sucked!" Luffy frowned. "No wonder I forgot" he huffed, causing me to chuckle as the blond slumped over and started to cry.

"I want to forgive them, but I just can't—I'm so sorry, Coby..." he sadly muttered.

"You just have to accept the past and move on, Helmeppo" Coby smiled as he tried to comfort the blond.

"He still sucks?" Zoro questioned.

"Looks like it" Luffy nodded.

"Man, you guys are blunt" I sighed. "At least lighten up a little, you already got the poor guy on his hands and knees."

"Hey, Luffy" Coby suddenly said. "I know that you and I are enemies now, but are we still...uh..." he nervously trailed off, hesitating as he looked rather tense and anxious about the question he wanted to ask. Almost like he was worried about what the answer to it might be.

"Of course! We're still friends!" Luffy brightly smiled, causing the teen to sigh in relief as his tense shoulders relaxed.

"Now, I have a job for you boys" Garp gruffly spoke as he faced his men, calling for their attention.

"Sir!" the men saluted.

"This wall...fix it!" he ordered as he motioned towards the damage he had caused to the side of the building's wall.

"If you were going to have us fix it, why'd you break it in the first place?!" his men snapped.

Despite their annoyance, they did as they were commanded and began gathering the materials needed to fix the broken wall. Garp himself even joined in on repairs after enough nagging from his men. While the men outside worked, we pirates huddled back inside with the rest of our crew so that we could give them some space.
