Chapter Two Hundred and Eighty Nine [Rewritten]

"Yeah, Luffy?" Chopper questioned, sounding just as distressed as the sharpshooter.

"That way, we should find her in no time," Luffy simply explained, his smile unwavering as he looked rather pleased with himself for coming up with such an ingenious idea.

"Though that might work, there's also the possibility that she could get hurt while we're destroying the place" I frowned.

"Yes, that's true" Robin nodded. "But also, what about the gem?"

"The more we destroy, the easier it will be to look for it—and we won't hurt the girl, we'll be sure to be really careful" Luffy brightly smiled as if that would be enough to reassure us that this plan of his was safe.

"Let's get started" Zoro nodded, quickly agreeing with the captain's plans before anyone else.

"Zoro?!" Usopp cried in exasperation as he looked at the swordsman as if he had just gone insane.

"Luffy's right," Zoro frowned, "sitting around wondering if something is or isn't here is pointless—we can't expect things to fall into our laps" he argued.

"That may be true, but don't you think there's a more delicate way of going about this?" Nami asked, crossing her arms as she glared at the swordsman.

"Come on, Nami—do you really believe anything that artichoke mustache moron said to us?" Sanji asked. "I'm all about this plan."

"Yes, so am I" Robin suddenly nodded. "Doesn't really matter in the long run if the ship sinks" she smiled.

"Well...it seems that you're all determined to go through with this plan whether it's a good one or not, so I guess I'm in as well" I sighed. "Got nothing better to do really" I shrugged.

"Ah! Robin and Skylar too!" Nami cried. "Isn't anybody against this?!" she whined as her frown deepened.

"The captain said it, orders are orders! Yohohoho!" Brook laughed, seemingly joining in with the rest of us without any real complaints.

"Looks like you're catching on fast, huh?" Franky grinned.

"Franky, you handle the Sunny!" Luffy instructed.

"No problem" Franky said as he flipped his sunglasses back down from the top of his head. "Super!" he shouted as he ran off in the direction of the Sunny.

"Aargh! This is why we can't have nice things!" Nami loudly groaned as her shoulders finally slumped in defeat.

"There, there, maybe one of these days we can have something nice" I cooed as I gently rubbed my hand up and down her back, smiling as I listened to the way she depressingly grumbled to herself.

"Right! Break stuff!" Luffy shouted as he and the rest of the men started to go all out in wrecking the place—none of them wasting a second as they began to tear the resort apart, showing no mercy to the things they destroyed as they did so. It wasn't too long after they started that a group of men soon came rushing out into the open, guns in their hands.

"Tabasco Star!" Usopp fired small pellets filled with hot sauce at three of the men, causing them to cry out in pain the moment they were struck in the face. Those of us that weren't destroying the place, took out the rest of the men to make sure that they didn't get in Luffy and the others' way.

"Give Sayo back to us!" Luffy angrily demanded as he destroyed more and more of the resort, not holding back at all. "Hey! Hurry up and give her back already!" he impatiently shouted before stopping as a loud hissing sound suddenly filled the air. Steam billowed out in puffy white clouds as the roof of one of the nearby buildings slowly began to rise.
