Aluby: The Demons Descend Part 3

"Where are we going Alucard?" Freya asked impatiently.

The group walked across  the forest near North Gal as they keep heading through north. A day had already passed since they left the kingdom in hopes of saving the holy angel. Alucard sighed at the question of the valkyrie.

"It is still quite far but we are going to the Demon's Grove after all." Alucard inquired. "People heard lots of demons recently over there as it overpopulates the area...which seems to be the work of Alice."

Freya frowned as she looked around the group, each having passive faces or serious faces. "And do you have a plan for that?" She asked the male demon hunter.

In response to that, he sighed. "It really depends on what demons are we fighting but with me and Ruby here, we can kill them with ease as long they are just the lesser kinds." He explained. "Which will be the case since the grove is overpopulating in a rapid rate after all."

Freya nodded as Karrie spoke up. "It might be wise for us to scout the area first before we head in so we know what kind of demons are we facing." She suggested, getting lots of nods from the group.

"A wise choice in the matter so we don't go in blind." The former king commented. Natalia smirked as she sharpened her claws.

"Recon huh? Sounds like my specialty." She bragged, making Tigreal roll his eyes.

"That is basically what you can only do Natalia." The brave remarked dryly, making the church assassin pout at him. The group chuckled at her reaction.

"Alu, what about Rafaela?" Ruby asked. "What do they need from her?"

Alucard frowned. "Probably because of her holy powers that can vanquish a demon easily." He said. "Although, Moskov is not a demon though, he is just a possessed spirit meaning they can tolerate more holy attacks than demons."

Ruby gulped as she nodded, clearly worried for the holy angel's safety. Alucard noticed this and put an arm over her shoulder as a sign of comfort.

"She'll be fine. Angels don't die that easily." The male demon hunter said reassuringly. "Her magic is potent enough so that they don't do anything that will kill her, otherwise, the magic will kill them."

Ruby nodded slowly, digesting the information as they walked further north to the Demon's Grove.

(Space)

Natalia glanced around the grove under her stealth cloak as she paced around the area swiftly, seeing bunch of small demons walking around the place. She frowned as she saw on how many of those tiny demons roaming around as she continued to gather infromation.

Walking across some of the ruins that were some part of a building and avoiding more of those small demons, her eyes widened at a sight of a blue demon that was on a hoverboard. The blue demon had a light blue thin body as it's neck was flaring up some magical flames that kept pulsing in and out. The demon looked at her despite of her invisibility. It took every ounce of her willpower to not move as the demon leered at her area.

After a couple of moments that felt like hours, the demon looked away as it floated to a nearby building. Natalia sighed in relief as she glanced at the building. Some of the lesser demons came out from the building in large numbers. She looked up to see a faint, red glow on the nearby window. 

"I assume that is the main base because of the glow..I wonder what it could be?" Natalia wondered as she glanced at the opening of the building as more of those demons spawned. "Should I risk it?"

She analyzed the building critically, thinking on what is the best move in the matter. Noticing every detail on the building, she shook her head.

"Nope. That builiding only has one entrance and an exit. That will make it extremely hard to get recon inside." She thought as she turned around. "I better go back to the group and report what I could find."
