A Mistake

Summary: ModernAU! When you thought they were the one but they actually have another....but actually.. it was all a mistake.

You know how it feels to have your heart shattered into a million pieces?

That it slowly kills you inside like you are incomplete... empty and souless...

Yet.. sometimes.. when you do experience that feeling...

You commit mistakes that you don't wanna do at all..

"Lesley...wait!"

"I don't care Gusion!"

"Lesley...please I can explain!"

Harsh rain drop down the background as I was running across the park, the drops hiding the tears that flow down to my cheek. For once in my life that I thought that I made the decision that I actually wouldn't regret...

A decision on the person that I loved...yet all I got was my heart shattered in two.

"Lesley... please..." I kept hearing his voice pleading at me as he kept chasing me, trying to apologize for what he had did. I gritted my teeth as I remembered what he just did...

An ultimate betrayal to my heart.

I stopped as I turned around, bringing a quick yet powerful slap on to his face that knocked him down to the ground. He gasped in pain as he plummeted down to the wet grass, staining his pristine clothes in mud.

"You just had to do it..." I said lowly yet my voice was filled with anger. "You just had to do it huh?!"

Gusion didn't say anything as he was too shocked from the slap. I shivered in rage as I wanted to hurt him... I want to beat him up for the things that he commited.

Yet he stood up, his eyes filled with regret as he looked at me.
That look on his face that I wanted to punch.. that I want to stop looking at me.

"Lesley...I didn't meant to do it..." He pleaded as he tried to reach me out but I started to walk away again. "I didn't meant to kiss her!"

Hearing that made my blood boil as I turned around. "Sure! You didn't meant to kiss Ruby so passionately that you two had hit it off in the bar!" I shouted at him throughout the harsh rain. "I saw it Gusion! I saw you how you betrayed my trust!"

Gusion lowered his head. "I...I..." He couldn't say anything, probably because he knew what he did. I clenched my fist as I turned my back on him once more as I wanted myself off this place.

"All you had to do was not put your hormones high up in your damned head." I remarked coldly to him as I saw the road up ahead. "You just had to break my heart that I fully entrusted you with!"

"I didn't want to do it! She forced me!" Gusion replied as he grabbed my right sleeve. "She was drunk, Lesley. I was caught off guard!"
