In the Land of Dawn, most of the heroes there are not aware of the secret that hold this world together. A secret that once a hero has learned may have changed their entire life forever that all what they have been living for was a lie in a sense. That one secret is hard to process... to the point that you may go insane if you have realized it.
A secret that already two specific heroes had already knew ever since they were born inside of it. The two were just relatively new to the world as they were created with their backstories and such that had it ingrained into their minds.
Yet as Gusion always said, break the limits of what actually is behind the scenes, of what is reality on the world that they had lived in. As he had finally realized the secret, Lesley also had admitted that she knew what this world truly is.
They are both living inside of a game, a game that endlessly loops to different scenarios of battles within the Arena of Dawn, where all of the heroes' lore and background doesn't matter anymore. A constant battle that never stops till the nexus drops and after that happens, it all fades to black till they are used once more by the players in the other reality.
Once they had learned that, the two had been breaking the boundaries of what an AI shouldn't do, heck, what a game character shouldn't do. They had managed to break their coding that they aren't bound to keep fighting constantly and had been looking through the game data by the use of what they had learned. It was tough knowing that all of their friends were just bits of codes but they were pass that phase already and are just living through this fake reality with the best of their abilities.
"Hey Gusion!" The sniper yelled at him as she walked through the endless void of white. The assassin blinked as he was sitting on the ground, possibly looking through the data for any possible changes within the game.
"Yes Lesley?" He asked as he stood up from his spot, clearly curious of what Lesley had to say. It always had been like this ever since the two had been aware of the game that they are living in, talking outside the game script as they manage to keep learning more and more about the game's code.
Lesley chuckled. "Well, it was something that was somewhat spreading fire in the global chat." She responded as she walked close proximity to him with a smile on her face. "It was kinda funny to be honest."
Gusion raised his right eyebrow. "What is it about?"
"Well.. there has been like a post from the moderators of Facebook of some sorts." She answered with a shrug. "Don't ask me what that meant but it seemed like they said that I like Lancelot?"
The assassin blinked in confusion as the sniper chuckled. "I know right, I was confused as hell as well." She added, making the assassin sigh as he smirked.
"Well, do you have a crush on him before we became aware of all of this?" He asked. Lesley frowned as she shook her head.
"No. As far as I know, I don't have any love interests in my lore at all." She answered. "There are no trace of Lancelot in my backstory either so probably that it would be made in a later update if it was real."
Gusion shrugged. "Doesn't seemed like it would affect both of us, we are beyond the game code anyways." He responded as he looked around the void. "Who knows what our creators are doing, all I know is that they are constantly pumping out events and skins."
Lesley rolled her eyes as she heard what he said. "You are getting a new skin next week." She replied with a smile. "Kinda funny on how they had turned you into some sort of hair stylist if all things."
The assassin sighed. "That is true. I am beggining to question what are our creators doing to the skin department." He said, deadpanned. "Pretty sure that they were not dead serious about making me some sort of stylist."
The sniper had an amused smile. "They did release a survey a while back that had you with that skin though." She replied as she chuckled. "You really look so emo on that skin though."
Gusion stared at her with a distatseful look, crossing his arrms. "Hey, I don't wanna wear that. I prefer my Winter Sonata skin more if I am honest with you."
Lesley shrugged. "Anyways, we are getting lost track of our topic." She said as she looked at him in the eye. "What if I do like Lancelot? How would you feel?"
The assassin remained silent when she asked that question, listening on what she was saying as she continued, her hands behind her back. "I mean.. what if I am not self aware and I really do like Lancelot in the future patches? Would you feel... anything about it?"
Gusion blinked. "What do you mean by that?" He asked back, tilting his head to the side. "I don't have any obligations meddling on what person you like."
The sniper sighed as a tinged of red covered her cheeks. "I just thought that..." She paused, moving her eyes away from the assassin's face. "...you would get jealous or anything.."
The assassin smirked. "Ahhh... I see now." He replied as he chuckled much to Lesley's dismay. "You think that I'll be jealous of you liking someone else eh?"
Lesley nodded yet she didn't say anything as she didn't trust her voice to her embarrassment. Her back turned on the smiling Gusion, who was standing behind her. Suddenly, his arms wrapped around her waist and span her around to make her see his face, getting a suprised and a much more reddened face from the sniper.
"I would be gosh darn jealous." Gusion admitted with a smile on his face as he started stroking her pink hair. "Because it is you who completes me Lesley."
Lesley smiled at that statement. "Well... even if I liked that noodle haired dude, I would say if I have to choose him or you...." She leaned forward and captured his lips with hers, forming a lip lock. Gusion returned the kiss with the same ferocity, pulling her close to his as they kept the kiss up.
After a few moments, Lesley separated. "I would always choose you over him." She admitted with a beautiful smile on her lips. "And if it forces me to like him... I know you will break the limits of my code."
Gusion chuckled. "I would baby... for you." He said as he went in for another kiss in the lips, much to the sniper's delight.
Two assassins all alone in the world that is fake to them, the friends that they once knew were just coded AI. Yet they can bear with such secret as they have each other to rely on, to trust on... to love on... in a world of Mobile Legends.
