In a dark night in a vibrant village, it was quiet. No noise was present at the area as the place was littered with nothing - no person was in sight in the village. Not even an utterance of a voice was even clear in the evening as there was nobody present as all, leaving the village similar to a barren wasteland. Yet with all the quiet nature present around, a ninja clad in armor was walking in the middle of the path, going to the exit of the village without uttering a word or any thing ever.
Yet, he stopped in the middle of his walk. His eyes visible on his rather faceless mask closed as if he was expecting something. The ninja gave a breathy sigh as he turned around to see someone clad in a kimono, white hair fluttering in the wind as he saw that person looking at him. Her umbrella opened as the light cascade over her, creating a shade underneath her as she simply looked at him with silent contemplation, her fingers moving on the handle of the umbrella as she let the said fingers tap against it.
"Leaving so soon Hayabusa?" She asked with a tone of sweet, polite tone as she walked close to the ninja. "I thought that we were about speak about the matter... of some deaths here and there..."
Hayabusa's eyes squinted into a glare as he simply looked at her. A humorless chuckle left the kimono girl's lips as she simply gave a smile at him, a smile that probably had another meaning rather than happiness.
"Oh boy.. I didn't know why you even did it Hayabusa..." The kimono girl said as she simply moved her umbrella to her other hand as the light started to hit her rather pale skin, creating a rather omniscient reflection that the ninja couldn't define. "I never thought that you have the guts to do such actions that are never warranted..."
"You know what I had to do, Kagura." He replied almost instantaneously. his glare intensified. "I would not drift onto those words of the consequences of what I did.. but you have to admit that I had to do it."
Kagura tilted her head in mock confusion. "Eh? So killing a whole village that had loved you.. had given you a home that had made you into this person... it makes no such sense either way I put it." She remarked in the still sweet voice yet her tone is fading into an angry one.
"It's either me or him killing them - me and you included." He replied with a remorseless tone. "It is a choice of lesser evils that I had thought you would understand. After all, you are a philosopher right?"
The kimono girl simply chuckled as she took another step forward. "Oh dear, philosophers are not always about logic. We talk about what is the truth of the world." She replied. correcting what Hayabusa had said. "And we know what is the truth about your actions, Haya. It doesn't take a philosopher to know what is wrong with what you had done."
Kagura closed her umbrella as she gripped the handle tightly. Hayabusa never left his eyes from hers as his hands were reaching out something from his pockets as he kept his glared gaze at her. The kimono girl was humming a soft and rather muffled tune from her lips as she kept her umbrella on her hands.
Hayabusa spoke up. "I don't see on how you can even think on stopping me." He remarked, full knowing that he can deal with her - swiftly if he must. Kagura simply gave him an empty smile that was a first that he saw from her.
"Well, it is just not me." Kagura remarked as she took a step aside as she threw her umbrella at him. Hayabusa was prepared for such as he quickly ducked under of the opened umbrella, grabbing a set of three shurikens from his pockets and quickly threw it at her.
The kimono girl simply dodged all the shurikens as she jumped up to dodged the returning blow. Moving her left hand to the right, the umbrella simply flew from the gesture of her hand, flying towards the shadow ninja. Hayabusa dodged once more as he ran at her, grabbing his tanto from his waist.
