The Reader Series: Alucard X Reader

You sighed as you were standing in front of the bulletin board, waiting for someone as you impatiently tap your foot on the ground. You are supposed to go on a job with one of the famous hunters of the land, the demon hunter Alucard.

You scanned the area as you tried to look for anyone that had a similar look of the demon hunter but there was none in sight. Giving yet another sigh of inpatience, you leaned against the wall with your arms crossed.

"Gosh, where is that guy?" You muttered to yourself as you kept on waiting and waiting for Alucard to show up. With a tired yawn, you shook your head to keep yourself awake as you kept on waiting for the demon hunter to appear.

After for what it seemed to be hours, you nod yourself off to sleep while leaning against the wall. You were tired for being at the city hall at a very early time as you were ecstatic to meet Alucard and work with him. Then suddenly, someone started shaking you awake, making you  open your eyes slowly.

"Hey (y/n)... wake up!" You heard a rather deep voice call you out. You yawned as you rubbed your eyes to remove the weariness and took a look what is in front of you. Your eyes instantly widened as you see Alucard near your face with his handsome face making you feel warm in your cheeks.

"(Y/N), you okay?" He asked you while putting a hand in your forehead to check your temperature. You blushed hard as you shook hard and removed his hand from your forehead.

"Y-yeah...I am." You replied back bashfully, hiding your blush from him. He looked at you with a confused look before shrugging.

"Okay then..." He said with uncertainty clear on his voice as he pulled back. The demon hunter cleared his voice. "Anyways, we are gonna take a quick assignment to the Wastelands."

You nodded as he revealed an envelope under his coat. "We are just gonna kill some demons." He stated with his signature smirk, making you blush as you averted your gaze from him.

"Y-yeahh... I got it." You replied as he and you walked out of the city hall.

(Space)

In the hot barren Wastleland, you and the demon hunter was in front of the police station, waiting for the client to come out. You panted as you can feel the heat of the scorching sun burning you as you wiped the sweat from your forehead. You looked at Alucard, who seemed to be unfazed by the heat despite wearing a blue, lenghty trench coat.

He noticed your gaze and smirked at your sweating face. "Can't handle the heat of the Wasteland (Y/N)?" He asked you in a joking manner which you responded with a roll of eyes.

"I mostly hunt in the North Gal regions." You answered to him as you showed off your right shoulder that has a patch with a weird symbol of it. "That is why I am not used to the heat."

The demon hunter chuckled as he patted your back, making your cheeks turn red slightly. "I know. I noticed that ever since we were at city hall." He admitted as he touched the patch on your shoulder. "Being a North Gal hunter...it must be tough migrating out there just for a joint mission with me huh?"

You sighed and nodded. "Yeah..but my boss said I needed the experience elsewhere so he called you in." You stated as you averted your gaze as your blush grew. "And I guess I was a bit ecstatic that I am working with the one who I idolize."

The demon hunter blinked before giving you a smile and wrapped an arm around you, making your face even redder. "Ahhh... I see I have a fangirl with me who wants to be with the most handsome hunter in all the land." He bragged as you felt rather comfortable with his arm around you.

"Sure. If that ain't the next girl you had flirted with Alucard." A deep yet western accent was heard behind you and the demon hunter, which made both of you turn around to see Clint.

Alucard rolled his eyes and removed his arm around you, which made you pout a bit. "I swear you always ruin my attempts Clint." He said, making the sheriff chuckle.

"Yeah, yeah... anyways, let's get to your job." He said as he turned around and motioned you and the demon hunter to follow him as he started to walk away from the building.

Alucard sighed as he turned to you with a smile. "Well then, let's finish this job so we can spend some time with each other." He remarked with a wink, making you blush as he started to follow the sheriff.

"Shut up!" You barked at him as you chased after him as the sheriff lead the way to whatever mission that you and him are gonna take.

(Space)

"Here is the spot that I am talking about." Clint stated as he stopped in the edge of what it seemed to be a steep cliff. You looked over and your eyes widened to see a lot of small black demons trying to crawl out of the hole. You glanced at Alucard, who was frowning at the situation.

"That is quite a number of demons stuck in there.." He remarked as he unsheathed his broadsword. "Almost seemed like there is quite a few hundred down there."

You gulped as you heard what he said as you unsheathed your long sword from its leather sheath. You haven't face that many demons all at once from your years of hunting, which made your hands quiver from nervousment.

Suddenly, you felt a hand pat your shoulder making you look whoever who did it. It was the demon hunter who had a gentle smile on his face.

"Don't worry. I am here to protect you if it needed be (Y/N)." He assured, making you blush and feel a bit at ease at the situation. You saw Clint smirk as he loaded his rifle.

"Well then, if you two lovebirds would help me clear them off anytime now." He remarked jokingly, making you blush hard while Alucard scoffed as he let go of your shoulder and prepared a battle stance.

"Well then, let us kill them now!" He exclaimed as he jumped in the air with his sword overhead as he dropped rapidly down the pit. Clint sweatdropped before looking at you as you were standing there blinking at what happened.

"Well, aren't you gonna join him or not?" He asked you. You looked at the pit as you see Alucard landed with a downward smash, causing a lot of the demons to collapse down. 

You breathe in as you were gathering courage to go in. With your hands gripping your sword, you jumped down to the pit to help the demon hunter out.

(Space)

"Well, that was fun was it?" Alucard exclaimed with a smirk as the area was cleared of the black demons. You panted as it tooked a few hours to kill them all. You saw Clint smirk from the top of the pit as he cleaned his rifle.

"Looks like it's a job well done hunters! I'll send the payment to the city hall." The sheriff remarked. Alucard nodded as he glanced at you, which you were struggling to even stand up from the heat and exhaustion.

"You okay (Y/N)?" He asked, his voice filled with concern as he walked close to you. You nodded tiredly as you tried to stand up straight.

"Yeah...I'm fi-woah!" You were cut off as Alucard lift you up off your feet, carrying you bridal style. You blushed heavily as you looked away, losing the words that you were gonna say. The demon hunter chuckled as he started to walk back near the edge of the pit.

"Well, let's go back and rest up at the inn first." He said as he jumped up across the pit, which you grasp his chest for safety. You smiled as he kept on jumping upwards to get out of the cliff.

It was a long day for you but you had enjoyed every bit of it.

And we are done! Phew! This was a lot harder than I thought as I am not used to make such format before. But yeah, I guess I did well for being my first time using such format.

Anyways, if you want to request something, well it is the best time to do so as I fufilled every request now. We are closing in the 100 chapter mark which I have something in mind for that.
