Fate works in mysterious way in life. It will direct you in weird places at weird times. You may meet the one who will destined to be or even find something around the corner.

Or sometimes, Fate will find your purpose.

My name is Natalia, the assassin for the Church of Light. Ever since I was a little girl I was an orphan in a place that I couldn't remember. My mom and dad died in an accident, which caused me to be in a foster home.

Yet, I wasn't there for long. Apparently, Fate gave me talents that I quickly realized. I was flexible, fast and had very good coordination with my body. One day, an agent of the Church of Light saw my feats and immediately recruited me in their organization.

This was Fate's first steps in putting me in the right path.

In that organization, I was confused. I didn't know what they wanted me till I knew that  they were training to be a top notch assassin. Knowing that I had no other purpose, I decided to follow along. The training was vicious yet I prespired and slowly made myself a capable candidate on becoming an assassin.

When it was graduation, I was the top member of my class. In honor of that, they gave me a weapon that is now my signature weapon, The Holy Claw of Light. The weapon was only given to those that were worthy for it to be weilded and was given by the Archbishop himself.

Fate had continued to give me blessings that I had kept and used willingly.

From there... I started my first few missions. The first target I killed was just a simple criminal that stole items from the store. From there, it moved on to mafias, to drug lords and a yakuza syndicates, which get a lot more difficult as time went by.

I also tried in with co-op missions witht the other assassins...but I had trust issues with the people around me. I always had been a lone wolf ever since I entered the church and never had any friends in there. I always thought that they would mess with my coordination and was inferior to my skills in the field.

Fate wanted to me to be alone, so I did live and fight alone.

After months and months of doing assassinations, the Archbishop called me and chose me to be the only assassin worthy for a very important assassination that can help out the kingdom greatly.

In short, the king chose me...

At first, I thought it was nothing special. It was just about taking care of one of Land of Dawn's major enemies, the Night Vortians...

The Night Vortians are a cult that believes that there is an alien that will eradicate all life in that planet and that alien will spare them for they are the chosen people to rule the world. I was tasked to take down one of the strongholds that the enemy had.

And at night, I decided to strike. Thinking it was an easy mission like the others, I kept moving in and killing whatever was in there. But slowly and surely, I was being overwhelmed, to the point that every soldier inside was after me.

I did not have an escape. I already knew I had failed this mission and let my confidence overpower my sense of judgement.  I got hit and was pinned down to the floor by one of the soldiers. The soldier raised his gladius in the air and I was hopeless to stop it so I closed me eyes.

Was it the end? Was it Fate that lead me to my death or was it my own decision?

But then, the Warrior of Dawn came in with his army. With a furious shove, he managed to save me from a deathly blow. My eyes widened as I saw him in action, his sword battering any opponent that come at him.

He seemed invincible yet his face showed no pride nor confidence. He was serious and fierce as he kept flanking any soldier that tried to attack me in my weakened state.

After a while, his army managed to overwhelm the soldiers in the stronghold. The Warrior of Dawn took me home  to the Archbishop, who wasn't pleased with my performance.

I thought I was gone....removed from the Church of Light after my horrible performance...

But Fate had other plans.

The Archbishop had made a decision for me to redeem myself. He decided that I would take missions in the highest caliber, missions that are not even in the Land of Dawn. At first, I was shooked. I already failed one major mission and I didn't one to fail another one.

But Tigreal decided to help me out, which shocked me to say the least. The Warrior of Dawn wanted to help me restore my confidence back but also discipline me if I get way too cocky with myself.

So I took his offer and went off with Tigreal to go and hunt down the most notorious criminals outside the Land of Dawn. With his help, I managed to learn a lot about scouting the weakness of what I am facing, using my stealth for gathering information and a lot more than I initially thought I already knew.

It was like Fate that made me and him pair up together.

A perfect duo that would bring down any criminal down. Whenever any situation, Tigreal managed to find a way out it and I end up finishing it.

A year has passed as me and him were finished with the missions that the Archbishop had laid out. Impressed on how good were the two of us, he had assigned me to become Tigreal's partner, effectively becoming a part of his army.

This is what Fate has lead me, and I knew it was a good decision.
