Keep Playing With Fantasies

I sighed as I lost yet another round of Ranked Game, which got me in a round of tilt that plague my mind after that loss. The phone I was holding was in in front of me on top of my bed, the defeat screen mocking me as I looked upon it.

With another breath of disappointment left my lips, I closed the application and decided to take one of the many ounces of breaks that I usually do whenever I lose. Standing from my comfy bed, I walked out of my room just to grab a glass of water to clear my mind of the tilt that I had experienced.

"Lag.. stupid teams.. way too good opponent players.." I muttered to myself lowly so I can avoid my parents hearing me. "It is like some sort of limbo every time I play this game.."

Grabbing a pitcher filled with water from the dinning table and a colored glass cup, I poured the said liquid upon the cup and took a sip from it. After a couple of gulps of water, I placed the cup down on the table and looked on the clock that was hanging on the wall.

"Gosh... how much time did I spent on grinding?!" I asked myself out loud in disbelief. I remembered that I had started around three hours ago...which means from the progress I did in those hours are basically nothing as I didn't gain any stars from the time I used.

I gave yet another disappointed sigh as I sat on one of the chairs in the dinning room. "Geez... I wasted so many time on getting no progress whatsoever..." I stated with a down toned voice as I placed my arm on the table and went on a thinking pose.

"Let me guess... you are tilted once again hmm?" I heard a voice beside me, in which doesn't really suprise me anymore as I looked at where the voice was sounded from. I saw my favorite character in the game, Ruby, wearing her usual red riding hood atire sans the scythe that she usually weilds.

I know that you'll ask why do I have Ruby in my house and is actually real and such... that is a story for another time... a story that may seemed bizzare and unnatural that it may take a long time to explain it, but at the moment, she is really here sitting next to me despite how hard it is to believe it.

Trust me, I tried not believing it but she somehow manifested to be real and I had to adjust to her for already three weeks now. I can say that she is a cute tsundere as if she was from an anime and such. She acts like a little girl despite looking like a fourteen year old girl.

But she is rather understanding and actually helps me time to time. Heck, she is better on playing Mobile Legends than me, which kinda makes sense as she is from that game...

I rolled my eyes. "Nope. I was thinking on how to make pancakes." I replied sarcastically, making the hooded female pout.

"Really... You don't have to be sarcastic on me you know?" She remarked in a slight angry tone as she gave me a slight glare. "I was trying to start the conversation after all!"

I flinched at the loud, angry tone that she did with her high pitched voice. "Sorry...sorry..." I told her as I feared that she may make me go have a head ache if she did keep up with her voice. She puffed her cheeks as she sat next to me.

"So..let me rephrase what I said... you are tilted once again hmm?" She asked, repeating the same question from before. I nodded in admittance as I leaned back on my chair.

"Yeah... I had been grinding for three hours or so.." I told her, answering her question. "And I am on a limbo at the moment and it is very frustrating..."

Ruby smiled at me as she patted my back. "Don't make a big deal about it. You'll climb higher soon enough! It's just that you're unlucky with such at the moment." She replied with her cheery smile.
I gave a small smile at that gesture as I let my other hand pat her head.

"I guess so..." I replied as I rubbed her head, making her blush slightly. "I just wish I hadn't spent that much time on no progress at all."

The hooded female grabbed my wrist to stop me from rubbing her head as she was looking at me with an annoyed look. "Well that's the thing...not everything has to go your way.. there is still people that also want to win after all." She stated as a matter of fact as she released the grip on my wrist.

I nodded in understanding as I adjusted my position so I can lean more on the table. "You are right about that." I said simply as I gave yet another glance on the clock on the wall. After checking the time, I stood up from my seat as I looked back from the hooded female, who was looking at what I am doing.

"Guess I'll continue trying." I told her, making her smile as she leaned against the back end of the chair.

"Well then, go ahead. I'll return on binge watching my favorite anime!" She remarked happily, which she makes a cute face whenever she does it. I chuckled as I patted her head.

"Well, good luck with that." I told her as I retracted my hand before being grabbed by the hooded female. She huffed as she stood up from her seat and started to walk to the nearby living room which had a smart TV on that was connected to the router.

Wait... router?!

Realizing that, my eyebrow twitched on the fact that she was using the internet at the time.

"That's why I was having some tremendous lag spikes..." I thought as I gave another sigh as she sat on the couch and returned on watching her show. I grinned as I saw her being giddy while she was viewing whatever she was watching. With a shrug, I went back to my room to play some Brawl modes till Ruby finishes whatever she was watching.

Well, that was yet another fun chapter I had written! This one is actually a trailer for a new mini-series that will be coming soon so better prepare for it.

Don't worry! It will come true. Heck, I had planned it out thoroughly so I know what the plot is and whatknot, unlike the others that I mentioned before. Those will take more prep time but I am positive that I can make those as well.
