Royal But Lovable

At the park on the city, Miya sighed as she was resting on the bench after she did practice on her archery. She felt quite exhausted that her arms felt weak from all the times she pulled the bowstring in a rapid manner to have more practice shoot with the use of multiple arrows.

"Dang, never expected that I was that out of shape..." she muttered to herself as she stretched her arms. "I think I need to train more so I can retain and improve from where I am."

She looked around the park as she felt really at peace at the moment as there weren't much people here. It was a time of day that she appreciated as the winds blow across the field, cooling her sweaty body down as she was thinking on how to improve herself.

Suddenly, she felt a familiar aura that she always had been accustomed to. The archer turned to her left to see the person that had supported her through all her life and till now, he keeps the support up no matter what.

The former king of her old kingdom, Estes.

She smiled as she saw him walking towards her, feeling his aura from a few meters away. The archer always loved the fact that he looks so regal and handsome that he was irresisitable yet he wasn't boastful about it. Even after the fact that she wasn't serving him anymore, he was still supportive as ever that he will still give her that advice that she always remembered.

And what is better from all of those things she had described about him?

The fact that she is his girlfriend, her lover that she thought that she never had.

It was shocking for her to even think about it the first time that the king had feelings for her, which he never usually shows. But her admiration and her love to keep him safe made it an easy way to a relationship to be formed, that each single drop of affection had been recieved by both parties.

In fact, she always wanted something like this. She never show it initially but she always yearned for the touch of love that she needed. Ever since her family died, the king always had helped her from the time that she needed it. Even when they were kids, he was always there.

His ever loving support and his serene smile made it to her heart that she will cherish upon the end of time.

Estes returned the smile as he eventually took a sit next to her. "Hello Miya, hopefully, I wasn't intruding on any personal thinking."

The archer shook her head before smiling brightly. "You? Intruding?" She asked before nuzzling against him "Those words don't mix with you."

The former king chuckled as he wrapped his arms around her slender form, not minding that she was brink with sweat. "I guess so, I just wanted to see how you are faring."

"Well, I am faring a lot better now because you are here," She replied happily as she nuzzled against his chest. "You really are one of a kind to hug a person that is really sweaty, Estes."

Estes shrugged. "It doesn't matter to me if you smelled or anything," he stated before smiling brightly. "You look amazing no matter what anyways."

The archer blushed at the compliment before chuckling. "If you say so, I don't mind that you keep flattering me like that." She replied as she felt really comfortable under the king's arms.

"It wasn't flattery," He replied before stroking her sweaty hair. "It's the truth."

She smiled lovingly at what he had said as she leaned forward, planting a kiss on Estes' cheek. "You really are one heck of a supporter huh?"

The former king just smiled at her as he pecked her forehead. "It is indeed my pleasure serving you." He said.

The archer just returned the smile as she made herself comfortable being wrapped around by the king's arms as the two enjoyed the calm, serene atmosphere that the two loved.

(Space)

At the Arena of Dawn, Miya was firing against the tower with minons seiging it, trying to bring the building down. She looked around her as she kept battering the tower with her arrows before one of the enemy tries to approach her and intercept her seige.

Suddenly, she felt someone invisible approaching her from the back. The archer knew that person was and it looks like her situation became dire. She stopped firing at the tower as she jumped to side, nearly avoiding getting slashed by a certain assassin.

Natalia frowned as she landed from her attempt at grabbing the elven archer as she saw her starting to run away from her. With a grin on her face, she went inside a bush to reactivate her passive so she can have another shot at killing the archer.

Miya gritted her teeth as she knew that she was gonna get caught for being too overextended for seiging down that turret. She already felt a chill behind her back as she knew that the church assassin was closing into her. Shooting an arrow to the sky, the arrow fragmented into smaller arrows as it hit the spot behind her as she tried to buy sometime for her escape.

But Natalia knew this as she narrowly avoided the arrow barraged as she pounced at Miya from her invisible state, preparing to slay her with her claw. But suddenly, a barrier of green energy slowed her down while letting Miya outrun her.

Miya smiled as she knew that familiar energy that slowed the church assassin down as she saw Estes smiling at her with as he started to ran towards her, making the church assassin give up the chase as she can't take both on.

"Thanks for having my back,my lord." She said with the utmost gratitude. "I would have been a goner if you didn't slow the assassin down."

The former king smiled. "Don't call me your lord and it was fine." He replied as he patted her back. "Just be careful not to overextend, I still need to help Gusion to not get too reckless."

Miya nodded with understanding as a smile crept to her face. "Got it." She said simply as she started to recall back to base. The former king smiled back as he started to go back to the lane he was.

No matter how long the distance is, she knew that the former king always had her back.
