Aluby - To Live With Each Other

A Mobile Legends Oneshot Remake

by Nite

In a forest glowered by  heaven's light, mixing and matching the yellow and orange as it cascades the sky in an artistic canvas that nature can only provide. It was the things that the Wolf Huntress, Ruby, always looked forward too. In the midst of her huntings, she always sought higher ground to see the vibrant array of colors blending in the Earth's atmosphere as an abstract art style that always dazzled her and brings up the positive emotions within touch of her memories.

She had never missed the sunset. It was like eating three times a day for her. The sunset had reminded her the times that she was happy with her grandparents before they were slaughtered in the invasion. It had reminded her the times that there is still beauty in an otherwise bleak and dark canvas that she wanted to preserve in her mind. Her emerald eyes had always seen the orange and yellow light and she never wanted to miss it at all.

Sitting on top of the edge of the jagged cliff, carefully balancing herself to not fall over, she had secured a location to see the sunset. The cottage nearby was a resting place that she and her partner had built by her request after a huge battle that almost ended their lives. She actually thought that her partner wouldn't do it but to her surprise, he actually did the request the next day after they fully recovered from the fight and from the questioning of the Royal Guard, Tigreal.

It was something that had made her immensely happy.

He was the one that always made her happy.

She doesn't know why but he is the one that had changed her life for the better despite higher the risk that it had involved. For one, it was him that took her under his wing and had made her the person that she is today after two months being with him. Two, he always made sure that she can do it, and despite that, he had risked their lives last mission, had always kept her safe and secure. The second one was iffy for her that she wanted some piece of the action but she knows that he means well.

Thirdly and the most important thing of them all, he had saved her from the darkness that had pitted her soul from the beginning her foot had landed on the Land of Dawn. She never had trusted anyone after the slaughter as it had made her grow apathetic at the situation until she met Alucard. His cocky remarks and confident attitude had gotten over her nerves and she wanted to wipe that smirk off his face in battle.

And she never one any battles against him from the first time they had fought.

It would have been saddening if she hadn't dwelled on the opportunity to be trained under. Heck, she would have probably died against the Fallen Angel in less than twenty seconds if she wasn't trained by him. She knows it to herself that she owes it all to Alucard's golden heart, a heart that she thought had faded in the unfair world.

She will always stand by him no matter what, to preserve the heart and kindness that he had always given to her. The demon hunter's right-hand man, the partner that he could rely on...

It was her happy ending that she had finally realized that she always had yet never realized in face value.

Yet, despite her feelings set in stone, nervousness takes the cake as she really doesn't know what the demon hunter feels about her. He never dwelled about any of his feelings as he was a type of person that was secretive about it. Even juicy details like him having a past relationship were kept under wraps by his cunning and well-executed excuses and topic changes. It did piss her off a tad bit that he was still keeping stuff from her but she understands that if he didn't want to indulge on his past.
