At the city's plaza, Lolita and Harley were looking around the  shops nearby, trying to find some stuff that their house needed. It was that time of day that they needed to restock everything, ranging from food to toiletries. The steel elf looked around the stands as Harley was right behind her, taking a look of each item that catches his eye.

"What do we still need to buy Lolita?" The magician asked as he picked up a magic gemstone from a stand. "Why are we here in the first place? This is where the magical items are commonly found."

Lolita sighed as she turned around. "I know that Harley. That's why we are here in the first place." She replied as she gestured to her necklace. "Remember this necklace you gave back at Christmas eve?"

The magician nodded as she continued. "Well, apparently there are a couple more of these gemstones that have different amounts of power in them. I thought that I can collected them all and try them out to see what they do." She explained, making Harley smile and nod in understanding.

"Well, we are looking on the wrong stand then." The magician said, making the steel elf blink in question.

"Huh? What do you mean? I thought you bought these necklaces right here?" She asked. Harley shook his head in amusement as he placed his arms behind his head.

"I bought that from Master Cyclops." He told her as he started walking in another direction. "C'mon, we might be able to get there in time before he does his daily walks in the park."

Lolita nodded slowly as she started to catch up to Harley, who was walking on a western direction.

(Space)

"Master Cyclops!"

"Ohoho~ Harley!" The small magician greeted back as he saw the two enter his shop. "I was about to close up for the day but I guess I can wait for you two to make a purchase."

Harley beamed at his master. "That would be wonderful sir," He exclaimed happily as he gestured to the necklace that Lolita was wearing. "I was wondering if you still have those in stock."

Cyclops leered at the gem that was dangling on the chain around the steel elf's neck. "Well... I have those..." he confirmed as he started hopping to a crate nearby him. "But it isn't the exact color."

Lolita smiled. "It is fine sir, I needed a different gemstone anyways." She said. "I heard that there are different kinds of this particular necklace with different effects so I wanted to try them out."

The small magician nodded in understanding. "I see... but why you have to buy them in the first place when you can just enchance your stone?" He asked, making the steel elf and the taller magician blink.

"Uh... what do you mean master? I thought you cannot enchance these types of necklaces?" Harley asked as he recalled something from his lessons with his master. Cyclops rolled his one eye and sighed.

"Harley...Harley...Harley.." Cyclops began as he hopped closer to them. "Remember that you enchanced that gemstone yourself?" He stated, making the magician blink.

"Yes, I know that." The taller magician replied. "But isn't it now incapable to be enchanced since I already applied my magic into it?"

Cyclops shook his head. "No, the stone I gave you to use can be enchanced more than that." He replied as his eye darted to Lolita. "In fact, you two can make a signature necklace that only you two can wear."

Harley's eyes widened as if he remembered something. "Right!  I think I know what you are saying master." He replied as he grabbed a very confused steel elf's right hand, which made her blink at the sudden action.

Then, the taller magician grabbed the gemstone in the necklace and held it lightly, enough to not scratch the surface. He smiled as he felt something familiar within the stone as he started pouring some of his magic in it.

Cyclops watched as his student's left hand glow while holding the steel elf's necklace. He saw the power surging from his hand going into the necklace like water going into a container.

Then, Harley grabbed Lolita's hand tightly as he looked at her. "Now Lita, I want you to focus your energy to the hand that is holding yours." He instructed. Lolita nodded as she closed her eyes as something from the center of her chest started glowing.

Cyclops' eye widened as he saw the Neumenon core being active before smiling at the action. "Guess he did figure out on how to do it." He thought as he watched the core's energy going to the steel elf's right hand.

The taller magician sighed as he closed his eyes, getting himself to concentrate. Then, he started drawing energy from his girlfriend's right hand to his as he poured it on the gemstone. This caused the gemstone to glow brighter in an orange hue as he was pouring both of their energies into it.

After a couple of minutes, Harley stopped pouring magic into the stone as he panted, feeling mentally worn out from transfering energies. Lolita noticed as she opened her eyes to see her gemstone in her necklace changed.

From the blue, moon-crest stone it was, now a combination between a sun and a moon. Both halves of the said objects were merged in the center as it glowed an orange hue. The steel elf was speechless as she felt the power rushed into her body, feeling more invigorated, more energetic and more focused than before.

"What...just happened?" Lolita asked around, coping with the effects of her new necklace. "Did it just... changed?"

Cyclops nodded as he was chuckling. "My, I bet that Harley had made something really revolutionary." He exclaimed as he glanced at the taller magician, who was still panting.

Harley smirked as glanced at the necklace. "Heh.. all I did was  transfer both of our energies to the gemstone Lita." He answered as he stood up straight. "That caused a magical reaction that had made it into such... which was very hard to do since I was simply guessing at that point."

The small magician nodded. "Indeed, you had fused two different energies together which made the gemstone to react to it," Cyclops said as he grabbed a colorless gemstone in a crate. "These gemstones can reshape their form depending on what magic they are exposed to, effectively making them one of the most versitile magical item."

Lolita nodded slowly as she was understanding what the small magician was telling them. "So basically, the gemstone adapted to me and Harley's energies in order to be shaped like this?" She said, making Cyclops nod.

"Yes, that is correct Lolita." He stated. "Although, only Harley and you can wear that necklace now as it is supercharged with both of your magic unless Harley had merged another magic into it."

Cyclops did an eye smile. "Essentially, you two had made your bonds even stronger than before as per with that necklace," he continued as he started to walk out. "Togetherness...that necklace symbols it."

The couple blinked as they were processing the information till the small magician hollored. "I'm closing up now! So get out of my stall!"

At that command, the two couple exited the said stall as the steel elf looked at the new and improved necklace that Harley had done. She smiled as she clutched it tightly on her chest, feeling the soothe effects of it on her body.

"It makes me feel so secured..." She thought before she felt Harley's arms wrapped around her shoulders. She smiled at that gestured as she nuzzled at him. "Just like being in his arms."

Anyways, it is a bit of refresher to make this pairing once again as it was quite a while that I made a chapter with my second OTP. I had fun writing this in one sitting so hopefully you guys do too!
