Chapter 31: Drop me home

I was just so silent when we went inside. Nagulat lang ako sa tanong ni Doctor Song sa akin. I pretended not to hear what they were talking about.

I swore I'll jump 2 floors from our building when I heard him ...

" "I want you to treat her like how you treated me."

"Huh? What do you mean Mr. Lee?"

"Because she's soon to be MY GIRL"

Like?! Whut!? Wala ba siyang ibang trip sa buhay niya? Jusko! Di ko lang to boss iniwan ko na to eh kanina pa.

I stared at him as if I was going to smash him up. Naiinis ako.

"Oh! That's good to hear then" sabi ni Dr. Song. Wow! Just wow! What on earth did just happening here?

"Ok. Let's go to the patient's room now?" Mr. Lee said. Whut!? Don't call him like that Ji Eun. You are not in the high position to call him like that. Stop bragging yourself. Just act like what you used to. Tsk.

After 1 hour finally!! Dumating din ang pinakahihintay ko. Note the sarcasm.

"Thank you Doc." he said. Ibinaling niya yung attention sa akin.

"Let's go?" he ask innocently.

I followed him. Hindi ako umimik.

"Ji Eun?" he ask while continue walking..

"Yes sir.. Oh. I mean Mr. Lee?!" I sarcastically said it.

"It's 4 p.m. now. Do you want me to drop you in your house. I mean outside your house" he offered.

"No thanks. I can go home there alone."

"Ok. Get in" sabi niya habang naghihintay na pumasok ako sa sasakyan niya.

When I finally sitted he started to drive.

~~~~ Joon Gi's POV~~~~

 It feels like we are in the prayer room for she is so silent. It's awkward to start a convo with her, I know that she's not comfortable right now. After almost 5 minutes I broke the silence.

"Ji Eun... About what I said earlier.." I didn't get a chance to finish my sentence. Someone's calling her.

"Hello dear?" she said.

What?! Dear like Love? Sh** who's that person Ji Eun. I keep my mouth shut just to hear what they were talking. Di ko alam kung ano yung mararamdaman ko when I heard...

"Yes. Oo. Nope. Uuwi ako mamaya. Don't worry. I will. Bye. LOVE YOU" and she ended the call.

That last word is still inside in my head. Love you? Wow! Ba't di niya sinabi na may bf na pala siya.

"Ano nga ulit sabi mo sir?" tanong niya.

"Huh? May sinasabi ba ako? Wala yun. Never mind. Ihahatid na lang kita sa inyo sa ayaw at sa gusto mo" I offered it to her.

Halatang di niya gusto ang ihatid ko siya. But what can I do? I want her to go home safe and sound. I don't want to start a conflict between me and her boyfriend dahil baka may mangyari sa kanya sa daan at ako pa ang sisihin.

"Tell me your address?" I asked her.

"Songyeokdong Village. Number 85. Lot 17." she said with an empty expression.

Di na ako nakapalag nung sinabi niyang ihahatid niya ako. Ano pa ba ang magagawa ko? Tumalon mula sa sasakyan niya? Kasi ayaw kong ihatid niya ako? Duh. Such a lame reason to do that.

After 2 hours, finally nasa harap na kami ng bahay ko. I checked my phone it's 6:15 in the evening. Bumaba na ako sa sasakyan niya hindi ko na siya hinintay na pagbuksan niya ako kasi sobra na yung ginagawa niya. He treated me like I'm not one of his employees.

Biglang nag sink-in sa akin ang sinabi niya sa hospital.

*I want you to treat her like how you treated me because she's soon to be my girl*

"Ji Eun? What's wrong?" he ask me sweetly.

"Huh? Nothing si- Mr. Lee" then I gave him a fake smile.

"Ohh. I like your house. It's not that big and expensive from the outside but I'm sure the motifs inside will really amaze me if ever I can get inside." he smiled like he wants to say something.

"Oh thank you. By the way, thanks for dropping me here. I hope na hindi counted tong day nato sa work days ko Mr. Lee" and I stepped inside the gate.

"Did your parents taught you on how to treat a visitor?" he ask snappishly.

"Huh?"

"I mean if I say I am thirsty would you let me go inside  in your house?" Ok fine. I got it.

"Oh. Mr. Lee please come in..." Note the sarcasm.
