-As days go by-

My life was a little much better now since the painful past of Max and I. I've been spending more of my time with Tyler. Him and I gotten much closer. Sometimes I would get side glances or even stares from Max, but I didn't care. I moved on and it was time for him to do the same. Tyler asked me out on a date tonight and honestly I couldn't wait for it, but for some odd reason, I was wishing that Max had asked me out. (What are you thinking?)

Over the pass days at home, Cassidy has been acting weird. She's been leaving the house much more and has been coming home late. I was wondering if it was because of that mysterious guy that she's been talking about. Anyway, I opened up my closet and pulled out a navy blue dress that I bought last Friday with some silver heels. I put my hair up in a half-do and waited outside for Tyler. Mom would occasionally try to talk to me about the things going on between Max and I. I told her that I was over it and that nothing else was going on.

Tyler soon pulled into my driveway and got out the car. Man he looked fine as hell. He was wearing a tux and his fawn hair was slicked back into a man bun. I honestly felt weak in the knees. Tyler looked amazingly hot. I stood up from the bench and waited for Tyler to come up to me. He flashed me a bright smile as he saw me wearing the dress. I seriously couldn't wait for this date.

"Wow Taytum, you look really beautiful. I just can't stop looking at you." Tyler looked deep into my eyes. I didn't realize how handsome his green eyes were.

"You don't look bad yourself, Tyler."

"I know. I look quite snazzy." He just had to ruin the moment. "Shall we go?"

"Yes we shall." I took Tyler hand as I followed him to his car.

Tyler opened the door for me as I got in. He closed the door and got in on his side. Taking a deep breath, Tyler drove off to a fancy restaurant called, Atlantic Paradise.

When we arrived at the restaurant, Tyler parked the car and then we both got out to go inside the fancy place. A waitress came over to seat us. Tyler ordered some red wine for the both of us. I honestly needed it to loosen up. Tyler began staring at me. It was kind of weird, but could you blame him. (Stop being cocky.)

"What?" I put on a seductive look on my face.

"You're just...wow tonight. Seeing you in that dress just is hard not to look at you."

"Is Tyler flirting with me?" I cocked my eyebrow.

"Maybe I am." He's flirting with me? (Oh god.)

I began blushing as he said that. Luckily the wine was brought out just in time. Taking a sip of wine, I felt much better.

"So do you take most of us girls out on a date?"

"Nope, you're the only girl that I've taken out." Wait what!? I'm the only girl he's taken out on a date? (Bullshit.)

"Hold on, so you're telling me that I'm the first girl you've ever taken out to dinner?" Tyler nodded his head. "What about Veronica?"

"Pssh...please. I would never take her desperate ass out on a date. She's too clingy and thinks that everything has to go her way. That's why I'm glad you set her straight that day when we were in the library." Tyler began laughing.

"Well, I'm having a good day so far." Tyler smiled and took my hand. Confusion began to spread across his face. I looked to see that he was staring at the ring that Max gave me. I never threw it away.

"Is this...?"

"Yes, but can we please not talk about that."

"Yeah sure. Whatever rocks your boat."
