-I Do-
(Max's point of view)
Tate was recovering greatly since that tragic day and wanted her to feel better from that, so I had a surprise for Taytum. I was really nervous, because I didn't know how she'll react. This was soo quick and fast, I honestly don't know if I can do it. I did talk to Mrs. Jase and she told me that I have her blessing. My parents on the other hand, were really up my ass about this. I told them about Tate being pregnant and my dad for the first time began yelling at me telling me that I can't keep my dick in my pants. That's actually Aaron. I, on the other hand lost mine to Tate, but as usual, he stormed off. My mom, she was happy for me and told me to do what I think is best for Tate and I. Even though my mom wasn't the best mom in the world, I was happy that she had said that.
In stores, in malls, I've been searching for the perfect gift. There has been no luck though. The things that I've been searching for, they all looked nice, but they weren't for Tate. She did like reading books a lot, and she quite a neutral girl when it comes to buying things she likes. Then I came across this one store and I saw this perfect gift. She'll definitely love this. I bought the gift and began planning a day to show this to her.
(Tate's point of view)
"I know I'm not alone!" I was singing the song, Alone by Alan Walker. I was finally home and felt better than ever, other than the part of me throwing up, but I felt great. I was going to make some dinner since mom went to my grandmother's house to treat her. I know that I should be going to visit her, but I don't know what she would say to me. Usually her insults to me are, "how could you bore a child that is ungrateful or that child's life is so messed up because of that husband of yours." My grandmother was such a drama queen.
Hmm, I began looking in the refrigerator to see what I wanted to cook. I decided that I wanted to make some taco salad. Grabbing a bowl, a pan, and some spices, I began making the taco salad that my dad taught me how to make. I pressed the play button on the radio to start playing some music. For a boy, by Raelynn came on and I was jamming to that.
I didn't know that Max came in, because when he wrapped his arms around me, he scared the living shit out of me.
"Nice singing."
"Whatever, Mr. Creepster." I rolled my eyes.
"Ha, ha, ha. It smells good in here. What are you making?"
"I'm making taco salad."
"Mmm, sounds delicious, but I would rather have you for dinner." Max lifted me up on the kitchen counter and began kissing me."
"Max, the food." I was absorbed by his kiss.
"...It can wait." He chuckled.
"I am not burning the house down because of you."
"You're such a downer, Tate." Max grumbled.
"Love you too." Max helped me down from the counter and I went back to cooking.
Max kissed me on the cheek and went off upstairs. I added a tad bit of hot sauce into the meat, and then let it to cook on the stove. I was about to open some get-well cards that the group gave me when the house phone ringed. Getting up, I walked over and answer the phone.
Tate: Hello?
Cassidy: Is this Taytum?
Tate: No, Taytum isn't here at the time.
Cassidy: Who is this then?
Tate: It's Taytum, genius. Did you forget what I sounded like?
