First kiss.

Mavis had had her idea of how her first kiss would be. She hung out with a lot of people due to different activities she participated on so she had thought there was a high chance the guy who would give her her first kiss would be among those people. The protesting gig. Because she would definitely fall for a handsome boy who would stay up all night and day to protest over what everyone else thought was a lost cause. One night they would end up both in the same cell kept there for disturbing public peace and ever such the bad boy he would flip the policemen off and kiss her right there with no care in the world.

Or maybe he would be someone from her high school who would somehow find a way to always be around her never having the courage to ask her out. Then all of the sudden she would notice him too and they would have their first kiss near the lockers just before the school's loud ring would separate them.

She had even had times where she thought her first kiss would be quite the awkward one. She had heard about those ones too. Where the guy she so much liked hadn't given away his first kiss yet so they would awkwardly try to kiss each other trying to understand how it was done.

Overall, never in any of her daydreams had Mavis ever thought her first kiss would be in the arms of someone she so much despised, held there against her will, with a pair of lips roughly mushed over hers.

It was why she froze.

Mavis froze, with her eyes wide open and her limbs stuck against her body unable to even react to what was going on.

It was why Hunter had no resistance to take care of even though his strong grip on her seemed to expect something else.

Hunter had his arms firmly around Mavis' shoulders, his eyes were tightly shut, trying to not really notice that he was kissing Mavis out of all people he could kiss, and his lips seemed firmly pressed against hers.

It was not really a kiss. Their lips were pressed indeed but nothing else was happening. Hunter made sure nothing else would happen because, even though he wasn't frozen like Mavis, he made sure to not move an inch while they were in that position.

Which was probably the biggest mistake he made. Because with no resistance from Mavis, his lips managed to slowly fit into hers and his bottom lip slipped in between them giving the two a teasing taste.

Mavis' eyes almost closed against her will as her brain shut down, for the first time experiencing a kiss even if it wasn't the one she wanted or expected. Almost, because just a moment later Lily's loud gasp brought her back to the real life, in which she always put a fight against what she didn't want, and she certainly didn't want Hunter to kiss her. So she pushed Hunter away.

Hunter stumbled back not expecting the sudden burst of energy that had hit Mavis out of blue. Mavis didn't even dare look towards Hunter's direction, her eyes immediately fixing on her friend, that seemed to have had her self back.

Lillian's face was back to being soft and childish, her tight and exposing clothes contrasting the hurt Mavis could see in her eyes. Lillian was hurt and now Mavis was quite sure her friend had craved Hunter's attention for quite a while because she seemed almost heartbroken.

And Lillian wasn't looking at Hunter either, because she was apparently determined to blame everything on Mavis.

"How...how could y-you?!" she whispered as tears started spilling one by one on her smooth skin.

"How could you?!" she screamed louder making Mavis shake internally.

A part of Mavis knew Lillian did not deserve to act like she was the hurt one, but she knew how stupid her friend became when it came to boys and romance. This wasn't even the first time she had had those tears and that sweet face that always made Mavis blame herself for everything.
