Chapter 6: New Companions

Hoseok's POV

Yoongi hyung and Jungkook left to drop Amber off at the camp so she could get fixed up. She told us that we are suppose to drop Ellie off at the North Temple, in other words, the Capitol building. To be honest, that's really far.

"Hey Hoseok, Jungkook said that we should wait for him at the Richwood Complex which is only down the street. He told me that we should wait in room 305." I nod my head and smile, I wonder how they met each other.

We get out of the building through the back and enter the town. "Let's hurry since curfew is in effect." This Y/N girl says. We sneak down the street and go through an alleyway. "Guys quiet, the military." Y/N says. "They won't check the alleyways, but lets still hurry." Wow, she seems like a serious person, I shall change that and make her laugh and be happier because I am your hope!

We are now behind all the buildings. "Yo Hoseok, take Ellie and go up these stairs and I will trail behind." Wait did she just say 'yo'? Wow.

"Okay, let's go, Ellie," I say to her as if I am talking to a baby.

"I am not a baby Hobi." I laugh and follow behind her.

We get inside and it seems like we are on the second floor. We start making our way to the 3rd floor.

"Have you ever smuggled a kid before?" Ellie asks Y/N.

"No. Never. But let me ask you this. What is your relationship with Amber?" Y/N asks and to be honest I really want to know. Amber doesn't like talking about her and Ellie's past. 

"I don't know. Friends, I guess. She knew my mom so she looked after me." Ellie says.

"Wow, a 12-year-old, friends with the Butterfly leader. Man, where are your parents?" I just stay quiet a just listen carefully.

"Correction, I am 14 and where are anyone's parents?" That's true. I wonder about mine. I look out the windows and stop.

"Hey, guys look."

It is a huge wall that looks like a city border. "That's the wall that runs through the city. It is so cool to see it up close like this. Wow." Ellie says in amusement. We continue our walk after that.

"And here we are," I say while opening the door. Y/N goes straight to the couch and lies down.

"What are you doing?" Ellie asks her.

"Killing time." She responds.

"Well, what am I suppose to do?" Ellie questions while looking at both of us.

"I don't know. Play, sleep, I don't care." Ellie sighs and sits by the window. I guess I shall make one of the few foods I have left. Canned soup.

"Oh, and Y/N, your watch is broken." Ellie points out. She is right, the glass is broken.

     ~~~~~5 Hours Later~~~~~

Y/N wakes up and sits straight up. "You mumble a lot in your sleep," I tell her while going to sit by her. "Oh, and I made soup. All by scratch." I say while smiling.

She looks me straight in the eye and says, "So you made all of this by scratch. Every single ingredient you had?"

I chuckle a bit out of nervousness. "Um...yea?" She starts to laugh. Oh, my gawhd I made her laugh. I knew I was good.

"How could you do that when the stove is broken." I look over at the stove. It's completely destroyed. I just laugh. "But I have to say, your English is really good." She says while complimenting me.

"Yeah well, the Butterflies taught me and Yoongi hyung English for about 2 and a half years. Yoongi hyung picked it up around 1 and a half years, but not me." I say proudly still because I still learned the language. But then a question pops into my head. "How do you know Jungkook?" I ask. I am getting curious about her. So this is the start.

"He is my only true friend that I can trust. He saved me 3 years ago and has been by my side ever since, but he missed you guys so much, though he never liked talking about it. I am just glad you guys are here now. I can tell that he is really happy." Man Kookie is still the same old Kookie. "So where are the other guys?" Wait how did she know there are more of us? Wait she just said Jungkook never really liked talking about us so maybe he told her a bit about us.

"I wish I knew." She gives me a sad smile.

"We will find them I just know it." She rubs my back.

"Thanks." We smile at each other and then the door opens.

"Hey, sorry it took us long, soldiers everywhere." Jungkook says.

"Nope, I am just glad you guys made it back safe and sound," I say while hugging them.

"How's Amber?" Ellie asks. To be honest I forgot about her just now because she was sleeping.

"She'll make it. She may be in her 40's but she is strong." Yoongi hyung says.

"Hey Y/N I saw the guns and there are a lot," Jungkook says to Y/N while sitting down next to her.

"That is a relief." She says. Why do they need guns? Y/N walks over to Ellie and looks out the window.

"I have never been this close to the outside before," Ellie says.

"Well, get ready because we are going to be traveling for a while." Ellie looks up at her and smiles. I knew at that moment that Ellie is going to get attached to her. I wonder how Y/N is going to feel about that?
