Chapter 39: Rescue

Y/N's POV

I swear, once I find this David person I won't have mercy on him. My stomach pains have lessen now due to the medicine. I believe that I will get through this.

"The snow fall is getting harder." I say. I walk a bit faster through the forest, this walk will be about 40 minutes.

"If we don't hurry the snowstorm will catch up to us." Jimin tells us.

~~~~~35 minutes later~~~~~

We run into a small town. Well, I think it is, the snowstorm has caught up to us and now it's hard to see. "We need to find that group before they kill more of our men. But I wonder if that little girl is really infected." Some men say a bit further from us.

"Guys, into that building." Taehyung says pointing to a broken down jewelry store. We rush our way their using the snowstorm to our advantage.

"Okay. We need to clear out these guys first." Namjoon tells us.

"Well, how do you plan on us doing that?" I say. He starts thinking for awhile.

"Okay I got it. Jungkook, Y/N, Yoongi and Jimin will go out and fight while the rest of us stay well hidden in the storm so they can't see us and stike down the rest of the guys." Namjoon says, explaining his plan.

"Wait, so you are risking our lives to protect yours?" Jungkook says crossing his arms.

"...I mean, you guys are good. Take this as a compliment of your skills." Namjoon says, smiling sheeply at Jungkook.

"Really? Thanks hyung!" Jungkook says really happy. I chuckle a bit and shake my head.

After that, the four of us leave the store and slowly move forward until we could see the men. "Jungkook, go with Yoongi and take the left side. Me and Jimin will take the right side." I tell them. They both nod their heads and as I was about to look away I slightly saw them give a death glare to Jimin. I look back at them and they quickly look at me and smile. They then turn around and walk away.

"Okay I can tell that there is a man scoping on the roof. You take him out. I'll get closer to the men down here and clear them out without any noise." Jimin tells me.

I nod my head and aim my gun with a scope on it and lock it on the man. I wait till Jimin comes back and tells me that he took them out.

I still have not heard a word from Jimin and I am beginning to worry. "Jimin, where are you?" I whisper. I lower my gun and wait.

"Y/N. I'm back." I turn around and see Jimin covered in blood.

"What happened?" I say full of worry.

"Well...there were more than I anticipated." I nod my head and turn around. I take my gun out and use the scope to try and find the sniper.

"Gotchu." I say and pull my trigger at the man.  The sound of my gun could be heard which causes me and Jimin to run away from our place just in case there are still men around this area.

We look around the streets and could not see anyone. I keep walking until I could not feel Jimin's presence next to me. I stop and look around. I see that Jimin was a bit behind me sitting on the snow holding his arm. I rush to his side.

"What's wrong Jimin?" I question him with worry. He looks up and smile.

"I'm sorry. I am just wounded. No big deal." Jimin says while trying to stand up. I grab both of his shoulders and push him down.

"You are hurt. Let me try and fix you up a bit." I take my backpack off and pull out some rubbing alcohol and bandages. I peel Jimin's hand off of his wound and roll up his sleeve. "This might sting." I say, but he stays quiet.

I clean around his would. Turns out that he was stabbed pretty deep so after we get Ellie, he is going to get stiches.

I then wrap his arm with some bandages. Once I finish that, I pull his sleeve back down. I put everything away and look up at him. He was staring at me this whole time.

We stare at each other. I look deep into his eyes and for some reason I feel like time has stop and it is just us two now.

I guess he feels the same because he slowly starts to lean in. I don't move due to shock, but before Jimin can do anything the voice of Jungkook stopped him. We turn our heads to the right and see the dark figure of him.

"Guys?" Is what he says. Me and Jimin get up and blush. But since it is cold it is not something I worry for.

"Jungkook? And Yoongi?" I say as the figure of Yoongi began to appear. They walk closer and their faces becomes clearer.

"Yeah, its us." Yoongi says, but his voice sounds off.

Before anyone could say something, something burning fills the air.

"What the?" I say and look around.

"Look!" Jimin says while pointing to a large cloud of dark smoke.

My eyes widen. Ellie better not be in there.

"Y/N! Wait!" The three of them says while running behind me.

Ellie you better be okay. Please be okay.

Tears fall down my eyes. Ellie I will protect you.

A/N: Thank you for reading! I appreciate it. I kinda rushed this chapter because I am trying to stream E3 this week and during the breaks I try to continue ✍ writing. I dont know if any of you love video games but I love Kingdom Hearts and KH 3 trailer got me in tears!!! Anyways...see ya in the next chapter!!!!
