Chapter 14: The Past

Yoongi's POV

I was about to tell Y/N the story of how I got this scar on my back. I don't know why, but I feel like I can trust her. Jungkook is now getting fixed up by her so he is also listening.

"It all started a year after Hoseok and I joined the rebellion. We trained hard for months, we also had to learn English. Well my specialty in the team were using guns while Hoseok's was bow and arrows. One day, our team was doing recon on an abandoned building. Suddenly, some military men showed up. Hoseok was on the second floor as lookout with some men. It then broke out into an all-out war. I was fighting back when I heard someone say, 'Yoongi move' just then I stepped forward and the man behind me sliced my back. I was badly injured so we finally tried to retreat. We made it back to the base. They fixed me up, but the scar stayed. If it wasn't for Hoseok I would had died because the knife would have cut deeper."

I kept my head down while recalling the memories. "I try to be stronger and faster, but the scars are a reminder of my weakness."

"Hyung!" Hoseok yells. "Stop beating yourself up for that. It was not your fault. Trust me we all have scars big or small."

I can only shake my head. I feel weak at times and I just hate it. I truly miss the past when I was able to express myself through music and I had my fans supporting me. "Yoongi." Y/N says. I looked up still with a sad look on my face. "I can't say that you shouldn't beat yourself up because that most likely wouldn't get through to you. But I can say that if you ever feel like that then you can always talk to us, we can help you get stronger if you want." I smile, happy to hear that.

Just then Jungkook swap places with Hoseok so he could get patched up. "Thank you. I appreciate everything you guys do." I smile and to be honest I could cry of how happy I am. I am not alone.

"Hey Y/N," I start, "we should start over and become friends. I feel like I can trust you." I say to her. For some strange reason, I feel like she is someone you could trust in, maybe it's because Kookie trusts her. But hey why not, what could ever happen between us anyways?
