Chapter 47: Music

ᵀʰⁱˢ ⁱˢ ᵃ ᶠⁱˡˡᵉʳ ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳ. ᵀᵉᶜʰⁿⁱᶜᵃˡˡʸ, ᵗʰⁱˢ ʷᵒⁿ'ᵗ ᵃᶠᶠᵉᶜᵗ ᵗʰᵉ ᵐᵃⁱⁿ ˢᵗᵒʳʸˡⁱⁿᵉ. ᵀʰⁱˢ ⁱˢ ᵖᵘᵗ ʰᵉʳᵉ ᵗᵒ ᵃᵈᵈ ᵐᵒʳᵉ ᶜʰᵃᵖᵗᵉʳˢ ᵇᵉᶠᵒʳᵉ ᵗʰᵉ ᵉⁿᵈ ᵒᶠ ᵗʰᵉ ᵇᵒᵒᵏ.

Namjoon's POV

Me and Y/N are probably the least closes and I get it. We barely 'hang out' so yeah. But, after tonight, hopefully, we become just a bit closer.

"So, isn't this our first time alone together?" Y/N asks me.

My eyes widen. "Hey! Don't you remember, when you were hurt and everyone left to either hunt or collect essential and you were left in my care? I told you stories!"

She begins to think hard about what I said. She then widens her eyes in realization.

"Oh yeah. Now I remember. Sorry, I was a bit loopy from everything so I don't remember much. The story you were telling me was something about fireworks and life. Right?" She asks. I laugh.

"Yeah, something like that. Sad, that you don't remember. That was a good story. Do you want me to tell you again?" I ask eagerly.

"Um, I think somethings are best left unremembered." She says as she scratches the back of her neck.

Man, I'm so disappointed now. That story is very deep and intellectual, but I guess it fine.

"Okay, I won't tell you again," I say in a sad tone.

"Hey, maybe you can write a song about it." She says laughing.

"Yeah. Perhaps after all if this, I can go back to writing music. I do miss it. Music was my escape from reality, but now, there is no escape from it."

I say as I look through the endless forest.

"Hey, don't say that. If you enjoy writing music then never give it up. Even if you can't go on stage and show it, present it to us. We will be your audience." I smile and thank her for those uplifting words.

"And maybe one day, you might want to write lyrics with me. I don't want to brag, but I'm pretty good at it." She says in a cocky tone.

"Now?" I ask her, not convinced by it.

"No." She says as she slouches and lowers her head. I chuckle a bit. She then raises her head and speaks again. "But I am a fast learner, so maybe you can teach me?" It sounded more like a statement to me.

"Then you must call me Teacher Namjoon from now on," I tell her smiling.

"Um, no. Not happening. I'm calling you Namjoon so you can take it or leave it." She says to me seriously.

"Why you gotta be a party pooper? But fine, you can call me Mr. Fine Namjoon." She gives me that 'really' look. "Okay fine, Namjoon it is," I say as I throw my hands up in the air. She laughs at me which causes me to laugh.

"I feel closer to you already," I tell her as I continue to laugh.

"Really? Hmm...I mean I guess." She says she put on her thinking face.

"What do you mean 'you guess'? You don't see me as a friend or anything?" I ask her.

"Okay fine!" She finally says. "You're pretty fun to hang around with." She says. I smile and leaned back so I can lean on a tree. The sad thing is, I missed it completely.

I hit the ground causing Y/N to laugh at me. She laughed so hard she was crying. "Nam-na." She couldn't even finish nor begin her sentence.

I stand up and wipe the snow off of me. "You okay Namjoon?" She asks, trying to hold in her laugh.

"We never speak of this," I tell her as my face started to turn red from embarrassment. She nods her head, not even daring to speak. Probably because she knows that she will begin to laugh again.

"Let's go," I say as I walk back to the campground.

"Okay!" She says in a cheerful tone. I can still hear her chuckling behind me. I swear she is one of a kind.

Once we got back I sat down next to Jimin and Y/N next to me.

"So, what are talking about?" I ask.

"Just that this weather is so nice. Just imagine falling into the soft blankets of snow." Jin hyung says.

Y/N lets out a chuckle and looks down as she covers her face.

"What's wrong?" Jin hyung asks.

"Nothing." She forces out as she tries not to laugh. His reaction just makes me smile. "I just imagine someone falling into snow unintentionally. That's all."

With one hand covering her face, she tilts her head left a bit to look at me. She then smiles widely and lets out a small laugh. I smile at her and shake my head.

This girl is something else, I swear.

A/N: I finally finished all 7💕💕 This was pretty hard for me. I pretty much wrote the 1st thing that came to my head. So I hope you guys enjoyed it. Now back to the MAIN story after this. I LOVE 💘 reading your guy's comments! It brings joy to me!!
