Chapter 10: Part 2

Y/N's POV

I feel like I need to protect this group from danger. I don't want them to get hurt, but they decided to follow and help complete this mission. We continue our journey until we arrive at an area infested with Runners and some Clickers. Man, they never make this easy for us.

"Guys," I whisper, "look, there are Runners and Clickers here." They all look at me confused except for Jungkook.

"Really guys?" I question them. "Did you not learn anything while being with the Butterflies?" I am quite surprised that they didn't know the different names to these creatures.

"But I thought that they were only called Clickers?" Ellie asks all confused. That was when Jungkook decides to jump in and explain to them.

"Runners are the ones that get bitten and have yet to turn into a Clicker. They are pretty much your ordinary zombies. They can still see and breathe so you can choke them out, unlike Clickers." They then nod their heads in understanding. Then I intervene.

"So, who is going to take them out?" They look at each other.

"I'll go." Jungkook volunteers himself. "I know more about them and their weaknesses so I think it would be a good idea." I just nod my head. Just as Jungkook is about to leave Yoongi stops him.

"I'm going with you." And they both left into the area which looks like a lounge.

~~~~~20 minutes later~~~~~

About 20 to 30 minutes have past and all is silent. I am patrolling the exit that we had just came out of to make sure nothing is following us. Then Ellie breaks the silence.

"Do you think that they are okay?" You could hear a bit of sadness in her voice.

"Trust me," Hoseok spoke, "hyung and Kookie are fine. They are brave and strong, unlike me." It makes me sad when he put himself down like that. He is the hope of this group. Nope, I won't let him speak this way with me around.

"Hoseok," I called out and he looks at me. "Can I call you Hobi?" He looks at me surprised and responds.

"Yeah of course." I smile. 

"Okay look here Hobi, you shouldn't put yourself down like that. You are a great and amazing person and I know you are strong. You bring hope and smile to this group. I hope that you can see that."

I continue patrolling the way we just came from when I hear Hobi mumble out a thank you. I was quite content with my little pep talk.

"Guys we cleared the path, now come on," Jungkook informs us. Hoseok and Ellie stand up and follows him with me behind them.

"Hey," I start speaking, "Jungkook, once we get back we should take a break." To be honest, after all of this I don't want to do anything.

"Ha! A break?" Jungkook laughs at my statement. "I always ask for a break, but you always say no." He continues to laugh; he must have thought that I was joking around.

"But this time I won't," I say to him.

He just chuckled and says, "We'll see."

We finally get to the lobby, but it actually looks like a train station. Then I hear a Runner moaning. Crap there must be Clickers here too. I am so mad, we are close to exiting this building.

"There are Runners everywhere. I also think there are Clickers here as well." I say. "We should split up, Hobi and Yoongi you guys should go left and Ellie and Jungkook will go right with me." They all nod their heads and we go our separate ways.

"This place is like a maze. Was this a Train Station before?" Jungkook asks, but it sounds like it was more to himself. There is a Clicker by himself and I quickly sneak behind and shiv it in the throat. That is when I notice that there are more of them blocking our pathway. I look over at Jungkook and he finds a beer bottle and throws it to the far right of us. The Clickers quickly run to the noise of the sound and so do the Runners. We then scurry right past them. We get to the front gate that leads us outside, but we have to wait for Hobi and Yoongi.

Jungkook breaks the silence. "So you call him Hobi now?" He says without looking at me. Really Jungkook?

"Really Jungkook, are we really going to talk about this?" I ask in disbelief.

"Jungkook? Not Kookie?" Oh my gosh, this kid I swear.

"Kookie, don't be such a kid. Hobi is my friend now so I can call him that." I explain to him. Jungkook looks a bit sad, but then the other 2 finally shows up.

"Finally," Ellie says. Shoot, I forgot about her.

"Let's hurry and get out of here," I say. We then make our way outside.

"Which way?" Ellie asks.

"Let me see," I state. "This way lets go." And with that, we left.
