Chapter 16: Reunion Pt. 2

Hobi's POV

My eyes widen at the sight of who came through the door. I feel tears swell up in my eyes. "Is that really you?" I ask. I could see everyone else in shock as well.

"Hyung? It's really you isn't it?" He questions back. The next thing I know, Kookie ran towards him and embraces him. Yoongi hyung and I follow right after.

"V hyung, you're alive," Kookie says while crying.

"Sorry to break up this beautiful reunion, but we need to leave." The Freddy dude says while unhandcuffing Ellie. "You guys can talk later, so let's go." I look over to Y/N and see her smiling at us. We wiped our eyes and Ellie came to greet Tae.

"Hi, I am Ellie." He smiles at her and responds.

"I'm Taehyung."

"We have to go up these stairs and then cross to the other building," Freddy says as we walk up the stairs; the only thing on my mind is how happy I am with Tae being alive.

"So what type of mess are you guys in?" Freddy asks directing his question to Jungkook and Y/N.

"Well, it's a job. A drop-off." Y/N answers back.

"Are you dropping off that brat?" Freddy asks chuckling a bit. Rude much?

"Screw you," Ellie responds back.

"Freddy," Jungkook says. "Where are we going?" I was wondering that too, but I remembered that Jungkook and Y/N said to let them do the talking.

"To my other safe house." He responded to them.

"I thought we were going to fix a car?" Ellie questions.

"You know how to fix a car?" Freddy asks while laughing.

"Freddy, shut up." Y/N tells him.

"Well then," Freddy says. "The other side is infested with infected so we need to equip ourselves," Freddy informs us. That does make sense.

We make it to the other building and make our way outside. Once we get outside you could see cars everywhere. "Why don't you fix one of these cars?" Ellie asks Freddy.

"You're a genius! Why didn't I think of that?" His voice flows of sarcasm.

"Okay, don't be a dick," Ellie shouts back. I pull her arm for saying that.

"The tires are rotten and the batteries are dead," Freddy responds. As we were looking around the place I hear Y/N yell.

"Runners!" I quickly pull my gun out and defend Ellie.

"Crap, there are Clickers here too!" Yoongi Hyung shout. As we fight, Ellie would help at times by throwing bricks or glass bottles at them to stun them.

After we kill them all, the only thing I could think of is how much I hate infected. We continue walking until we end up behind a huge building. It looks like a Catholic Church. "Down here," Freddy says while pointing to a cellar. Everyone starts to go in and I slowly push Ellie in front of me so she could go first since it looks a bit scary.

"Okay, gear up everyone," Freddy tells us. I turn over to Ellie and I see her picking up a gun.

"Nope," I say while putting it back down.

"Why? I need a gun." She responds back. "Hoseok, I can handle myself quite well if I say so myself." She is being persistent. I just don't want to arm a 14-year-old. She's like a little sister to me.

"No. And that's the end of it," I say and then turn around to continue looking.

"Jungkook, Y/N, you should really let this girl go. Why do this suicide mission?" I overhear their conversation. They were a bit further from the rest of us, but I quietly get closer to them. Freddy continues talking. "Let me tell you a story. I once had a partner I cared for. We worked together and after 3 ½ years we met V. He would follow us around without us knowing and one day snuck into our place on a rainy day and my partner decided that we should let V stay. About a year ago my partner backstabbed us and took most of our supplies and left us. I was going to kick V out so I could be alone, but I decided to let him stay just a bit longer. After all of this if you still want to go on with this suicide mission then take him with you."

Freddy finishes telling Jungkook and Y/N his story and to be honest with you, it was a  bit sad. Jungkook nods his head in agreement. "Well then, lets head out." Y/N says.

"Wait I have something that might be useful to use guys." Freddy quickly grabs something and asked us all to come together. "This here is a nail bomb. You have to be careful with it. Once it blows it will shred everything close by." Freddy informs us. Seems too dangerous for my liking.

"Cool!" Tae says with excitement. I stare at him in shock. How is this thing cool?

"I'm not surprised you crafted this, knowing the things you have done before." Y/N states. "So what is the plan?" Y/N asks.

"Well, there is a military truck that got attacked by infected. The battery was still working. So we must go and retrieve it." Freddy says. I really don't want to do this, but I don't have any other choice right now.

We leave the cellar and make our way to the second floor of the building. It really does look like a chapel from the inside. Freddy opens the window and told us to jump. All I could do was look out to the horizon. It is twilight. The sky is beautiful and I couldn't tell if it was going to be morning or night, to be honest, I lost all sense of time 3 years ago. I saw a school in the distance. "We have to make it to the school," Freddy says. We nod our heads and then jumped out of the window. It wasn't that high up anyway.
