Jimin's POV
I am pretty nervous. Last time I almost kissed her, but someone, Jungkook, had to stop me.
My feelings may not be as strong as theirs, but it is true. I won't be a pushover just because she has known them longer.
We stand, facing each other in silence. She looks at me and then looks away. "So Jimin, how are you doing?" She closes her eyes shut as if she was cursing herself for asking that.
I chuckle a bit. "I'm doing fine. I think about my family a lot and my old life back in Korea." She looks at me and smiles.
"I think about my family a lot too. I miss them and wish they could be here. In all honesty, I do get scared every time we leave and continue our journey. You never know what might happen." She tells me while kneeling and playing with the snow.
"I understand. I feel the same way. It's been a while since I have fought. I always get a bit nervous about going out and messing up. I don't want to put any of you guys in harm's way." I tell her as I look back at the campground.
"I think that's why we make such a great team. We compensate for each other's weaknesses. Together we can do anything." Y/N tells me while looking back at the campground.
I nod my head in agreement and smile.
"Hey, about the other day...um-" I began, but Y/N cut me off.
"Don't worry. Already forgotten." She smiles at me.
I widen my eyes but then smile. "Oh, okay, thanks. I don't want the past mistakes to come back and haunt me." I say to her smiling widely. But in truth, I didn't regret my action. I would do it again and succeed this time.
"Oh. Yeah of course. A mistake that anyone wouldn't want to come back and haunt them." She tells me while giving me a small smile. Though her smile looks fake.
It's quiet afterward, it's as if none of us dared to speak. The cool breeze hitting our face, making the atmosphere feel calm.
"Jimin?" Y/N says, breaking the silence.
"Hmm." I hum out.
"Do you miss dancing?" I was surprised by her answer and it took me a while to answer. I never actually thought of dancing in a long time, or more like, I didn't have time to think about it.
"Now that you mention it, I do miss it. Dancing is something I am passionate about and a way for me to show my emotions, or relax when I get too stressed out, without the need for words. It's my other language." I stare at the stars as I remember dancing on stage.
"Wow, beautifully said. I also agree with you." She walks over to a tree and leans on it. "I feel like, one does not necessarily need to be a 'great' dancer. They just need a heart. A heart that loves to move to a beat, a song. Dancing is art for anyone, not just for 'professionals'." I look at her in shock.
"Wow, wise words coming from you," I say as I ruffle her hair.
"Hey!" She swats my hand away. "Are you saying, you thought I was dumb?" She crosses her arms together.
I laugh. "Maybe, maybe not. Who knows?" I say as I shrug my shoulders. She then punches my arm.
"Let's go back. I'm getting tired and I still have to talk to Namjoon." She informs me.
"Okay let's go back. But be warned, he might start talking about philosophy with you." She laughs.
"Then I guess I must outsmart him then. Huh?" She says smiling at me as we walk back.
I nod my head. "If you can."
We made it back to everyone and Y/N calls over to Namjoon. He looks up and tells Ellie that he will be back. I watch them leave and sit by Ellie.
"Hey Jimin." She says.
"Hey. Can I ask you a question?" I ask.
"Sure, what about?" She says.
"Is there anything you are passionate about? Anything you dream of doing?" I ask her.
"Well, I want to learn how to play the guitar." She replies. I nod my head.
"Hey, Jin hyung can play guitar. Maybe after all of this, he can teach you." I tell her.
"Cool! Thanks." She says. I look at the fire. A dream, an inspiration. Thank you Y/N, for reminding me about my dreams. Thank you for being my light.
