Chapter 28: Ice Cream Truck

Hobi's POV

“Lets go.” Henry said. There were tall trees and bushes surroundings surrounding us. I turned around and saw Y/N walking alone. I looked forward and saw that nobody would see me slowly make my way to her. I walked slower until I was right beside Y/N. “Get you okay?” I asked her.

I noticed I startled her. Cute. “Um…yeah. It was just really intense back there.”

“At least we made our way out.” I said to her. She chuckled and nodded her head. When she did everyone turned their heads to us. I saw Tae give me a death glare. Jungkook just rolled his eyes and Yoongi hyung just frowned. I tried not to laugh because I had a feeling of what was happening. I think they might be jealous. But who knows.

We made it between a neighborhood. “What’s that?” Ellie asked us pointing to and ice cream truck. “That’s an Ice Cream Truck.” Y/N responded quite shocked that Ellie didn't know.

“Ice Cream Truck?” Ellie said confused. Wait a minute. She really doesn’t know?

“Yeah. They sold ice cream in there.” Jungkook said. “What? No way.” Ellie said astonished.

“It’s true. People would drive it around and play loud creepy music and kids would come running to buy ice cream.” Yoongi hyung explained. Creepy music though? I mean I guess.

“Weird.” Ellie said. If she doesn’t know what an ice cream truck is, I truly wonder what type of life she lived.

As we were walking down the neighborhood, we saw the Butterflies' symbol on some houses. “Well I guess the Butterflies were here.” Jin hyung said.

“How are we going to find them?” Henry said seeming a bit desperate to find them.

“I have an old friend that was a member of the Butterflies.” Y/N said which caused Jungkook to roll his eyes. “Last I heard, he was living in Wyoming. We get there, we find him. Then we can find the Butterflies.”

“Okay, lets do that.” Henry said.

We began walking down the neighborhood when two Clickers came at us and attacked Henry and Sam. Jungkook and Yoongi hyung quickly shot the Clickers in the head. Henry pushed the Clicker off of him and ran to Sam.

“You okay Sam?” Henry asked while helping him up. “Yeah.” He responded. We looked behind us and what we saw horrified us. “Run!” Yoongi shouted.

A mass of infected where coming. So we ran into a house and closed the door. We were panting a lot from the run. Are walked into the kitchen which was located in the back. “Guys. Lets sneak into the back and hop the fence.” We all were looking at each other when Infected started to bang onto the house. “Lets do it.” Henry said.

We quickly made our way to the back and Quietly jumped the fence. “Okay lets go.” Y/N whispered.
