Chapter 50: Tunnel

Jimin's POV

We began walking in the subway entrance just to be met with darkness. I turn on my backpack's flashlight and look around. The train tunnel is almost completely covered in plants. I'm guessing that it's weeds and fungus.

Ellie then spoke up. "So we just need to get through this tunnel to get to the other side, and then we will be close to the hospital?"

"Yeah, pretty much. Let's just try and hurry. I don't want Clickers or Runners coming after us." Y/N states.

We begin walking through the tunnel. After a few minutes, Ellie begins to complain. "Are we almost there yet?"

"Who knows. We just have to keep going to figure it out." Namjoon hyung says without looking at her.

We then came to a big dip. Meaning, the tracks went down and then back up. We stop and look at each other. "I can't swim and you guys know that." Ellie says worried.

The whole area is filled with water. In the water is a train that is partially sunken while the roof top is the only part staying above the water.

"I have an idea, but I don't know if you guys want to do it." I say.

"Tell us." Taehyung says.

"Well, I was thinking that we get on top of the train's roof and slowly make our way to the other side. It might be dangerous because I don't know how stable it is." I explain to them all.

Jin hyung looks at all of us and then looks at the water. "On the side of the train is a ladder. We just need to swim for a bit and make it to the ladder. Once we get there we can slowly, and carefully, walk across to the other side." We nod our heads.

"Ellie, you can just get on my back and I'll take you." Hobi hyung tells her. She nods her head.

We all swim to the train and one at a time climbed up. First was Jin hyung and then Namjoon hyung. Once he got up, I waited until he was a bit further so our weight doesn't cause the train to collapse.

This train is our only way since it is blocking the entire tunnel. After a bit, I begin to climb. I slowly stood up and took baby steps. The train made a weird noise making me crouch. "This will take awhile." I whisper to myself. I continue until I feel the train rattle again. I kneel down and look behind me. I see Yoongi hyung getting on. I get back up and walk until I see a locomotive that is not apart of the train.

"I hate jumping at this point." I back up a bit and ran. I quickly jump to the other locomotive and slowly stand up. "I'm alive!" I say in a whisper-shout.  I then hurry and at the end of it is land. I jump down and see Namjoon and Jin hyung waiting for us.

"Well, I guess we wait for everyone else now." I say.

"Look here comes Yoongi with Taehyung and Jungkook not that far behind." Jin hyung points out.

Once they got to us, the only people we were waiting for now was Hoseok hyung, Ellie and Y/N.

"Get on the ground!" We all turn around and to see who the voice belongs to. Suddenly, the sound of a gun goes off and there I see Namjoon hyung look at his shoulder. His eyes widen and in a few seconds later her falls to the ground.

My eyes widen in horror and look back at the men. There is about 5 of them. "What did you do?" Yoongi hyung shouts. Just then, more gun shots are heard. I look at my left leg and see that I was shot. I look at my left shoulder and see a shot there.

I then fall to the ground and right before my eyes close I see Hobi hyung, Ellie and Y/N move their mouths as if they were shouting. That's when everything goes black.
