madelines POV
"what are you getting?" Diego said with a smile on his face as he looked thoroughly at the menu.
"either pancakes or waffles." I sat with my legs crossed in the booth.
Diego had decided to wake me up at 9 this morning so we could go to Waffle House in our pajamas.
I swear I got mad love for this kid.
"ewww your so basic. why not get like a steak or something." he said while looking at the lunch side of the menu.
"um because its like 9 in the fucking morning and I want breakfast?" I looked at him raising an eyebrow.
"basic.." he whispered while smirking at me.
"oh definitely.." I slowly leaned over the table to leave a kiss on his lips.
"y'all ready to order?" the waitress came over to our table with her notepad in her hand.
"im gonna get a chicken sandwich." he stretched his arms out while yawning.
"im gonna get blueberry waffles with a side of scrambled eggs, a bowl of mixed fruits and toast. please." I smiled while handing her the menu.
"damn ma..." Diego looked at me smiling.
"what?" I shot him a glare.
"nothin baby. I just love a girl who can eat." he bit his lower lip smirking while grabbing and holding my hand across the table.
"shut up. I'm eating for two." I rolled my eyes.
"so... about that..can we talk about what we're gonna do about the baby..." he said while looking down at his cup of orange juice.
"Diego honestly....after thinking about it last night..." I start to fiddle with my fingers.
"what about it?" he looked at me, anxious for an answer.
"I think we should-"
"alright. here you guys go. enjoy your meal." the waitress brought our food and set it down in front of us.
but Diego doesn't even aknowledge her.
"think we should what?" he stares at me.
" keep it." I smile while looking down at my food, cutting my waffle into tiny pieces. after a few seconds of Diego not responding, I look up to meet his eyes.
he was trying his best to cover his smile with his hand as tears formed in his eyes.
SO I KNOW IVE BEEN REALLY SLOW ON MY UPDATES BUT SEE WHAT HAD HAPPENED WAS..... I had to go last minute Christmas shopping 😂 and the mall was insane. but then afterwards I went to get Chinese take out to bring home and it took me forever to eat because I kept getting distracted and before I knew it, it was like 10 o'clock so I started working on more chapters for all the books but then I had to wrap presents so I kept getting distracted. but I love you guys. please don't hate me. 💔
