"baby can you make us some breakfast." Diego said in his sleepy voice, waking me up.

I smile and lean up out of bed. it was 9am. me and Diego went to bed at around 11pm last night, we stayed up and just talked about both of our experiences and ways to prevent any of that stuff Fromm happening again. 

I get up and go into the kitchen, I get out the eggs, bacon and pancake mix. 

it takes about an hour for me to make everything. but around 10, I go to wake Diego back up. 

" baby, come on, get up, I made breakfast." 

he opens his eyes and smiles. he leans up and stretches. then he looks at me and smirks. 

"what?" I chuckle. 

"your so beautiful." he looks at me, I'm wearing loose shorts and one of Diego's sweatshirts with a messy bun with no make up.

"im far from beautiful." I say shyly. 

" what the fuck? your so beautiful! what the hell are you talkin bout ma."  he smirks. 

then he pulls me closer to him. 

"baby come on your foods gonna get cold and I aint trying to listen to yo bitch ass complain about some damn cold food!" I laugh. 

" who the fuck you think you talking to like that" he chuckles and pulls me on his lap. 

then we sit in silence for a good 10 seconds, staring into each others eyes. 

" I missed you so much Madeline..." he says seriously. 

" I missed you too Diego..." 

then he kisses me slowly, not passionately, but slowly, like he really means this one.

then we stop, and press our foreheads together, he closes his eyes and a tear falls down his cheek. 

I get up off his lap and he immediately puts his head in his hands. 

" baby.. whats wrong..." I ask , pulling his hands down from his face. 

" how did I get so lucky...to get you..." he wipes his eyes and looks at me I saw a deep rage of pain. I kiss his hands, then his forehead. " baby, you deserve the world.." I whisper. 

he smiles. 

"now come on, lets go eat breakfast."
