*two months later*

Madelines POV

"come on ... i seriously got to go." i said while buttoning my jeans. 

"come on...the plane doesn't land for like 20 minutes.." he smirked while pulling me back down on the bed. 

"so? i got to meet him at the airport." i giggled while getting back up out of the bed. 

"fine." he pouted while getting up as well, pulling his joggers on.

i rolled my eyes playfully before walking in the bathroom. i looked in the mirror as i fixed my hair. i looked down at the sink and i saw my engagement ring sitting on the side. 

"so..what are you going to tell him...?' he came up behind me with a sad look on his face. 

"im telling him the truth, " i said while turning around. 

" what happened between me and you Danny...was a one-time thing..and its not going to ever happen again since diegos back. im sure he'll understand." i pursed my lips before shoving past him and walking out the bathroom. 

"if you say so princess...and for the record..it wasn't one time... it was three times.." he smirked before i walked out of his apartment door. 

yes im ashamed for cheating, but around the first month of Diego being gone, he started to get distant. i understand he was busy with tour..but i felt alone..and Danny was there for me. i didnt intend on anything to happen between me and him.it just happened...

Dannys POV

you can say im a messed up for fuckin with one of my best friends girls..but everyone knows diego wasn't going to last a whole two months without fucking with another girl anyway. 

i walked back into the bathroom to get ready for the dinner party we had set up for Diego and steven... 

"shit.." i mumbled as i saw madelines engagement ring was still on the sink. 

i grabbed it and stuffed it in my coat pocket. 

then i made my way to the door and walked out of my apartment.

Diegos POV

im so excited to see Madeline. we haven't really spoken that much lately but that's only because we were in different time zones and it's hard to make time to talk..

as we got off the plane i started to look around the busy lobby...

"there she is bro." steven tapped my arm before pointing towards a girl standing impatiently by the doors. 

"hold this." i threw him my bag before running towards Madeline. 

"Baby!!" i yelled before picking her up and spinning her around in circles.

"i missed you too." she giggled. 

"oh my fucking god you dont even know." i mumbled, squeezing her as tight as i can. all eyes were on us in the middle of the airport, but i didn't care.

"come on we need to go home." she smiled. 

"what no..i thought we were going to go to that dinner thing?" i pouted. 

"we are. but i need to talk to you first." she smiled again.

"then lets talk on the way to the restaurant." i raised my eyebrow. 

"diego.." she sighed. 

"come on. lets go." i laughed. 

"boy take yo shit. i am not yo fuckin host." Steven laughs while throwing me my bags. 

"lets go then...." Madeline sighed. 

"ill catch yall at the restaurant. dannys pickin me up." Steven said while throwing up a peace sign before walking out the doors. 

"i guess its just me and you then." i kissed Madelines forehead before draping my arm around her.

"yeah.." she laughed nervously while grabbing one of my bags, helping me carry them out to the car. 

"so, what did you want to talk to me about?" i smiled as we got in the car and headed towards the restaurant. 

Madelines POV

"um...well.." i said. 

"baby girl just spit it out. what did you do?  break sum in the house?" he joked. 

"not exactly.." i pursed my lips. 

"whatever it is that you broke. im sure we can fix it." he laughed as we pulled in the parking lot. 

"shit its gonna be cold as fuck and i don't have a jacket nor a hoodie." Diego murmured as i parked the car.

"diego. i cheated on you." i finally blurted out. 

he slowly turned and looked at me. 

"well you cant fix a broken heart.." he said quietly before getting out the car and running up to the doors of the restaurant. 

i felt like crying...because i love diego..i really do..and now i regret everything.

Dannys POV

me: im sorry...

i quickly put my phone away as i watched Diego storm into the restaurant. 

"hey man!" i stood up and gave him a hug. 

"wasssup." he smiled, returning the hug... 

she didnt tell him it was me..?

"wheres madeline?" i asked. 

"uh.." he turned around before shoving his hands in his pockets. 

"i think she had to make a phone call. " he scratched his head while pursing his lips. 

"okay well, we already ordered. so here sit down" i laughed while pointing to the seat we saved for Diego, right next to the one for Madeline. 

"bruh since you arent wearing your jacket, can i borrow it? its cold as hell in here," Diego asked as he rubbed his arms. 

"yeah sure dude." i handed him my jacket that was laying on the back of my chair. 

then Madeline walked in. 

Diegos POV

"sorry, i had to do something." Madeline said smiling while sitting down next to me. 

"yeah.." i whispered while pursing my lips. 

" so, diego." Danny smiled at me. 

"yeah?" i smiled back while shoving my hands in the pockets of his jacket. 

then i felt something scratch my finger. 

"when is the wedding?" he asked. 

my heart started to pound rapidly. 

i wrapped my fingers around whatever it was in his jacket pocket and pulled it out. 

and i looked down at my hand, and there was madelines engagement ring. 

"it was you.." i whispered as i looked down at the ring in my hand.
