I woke up to the smell of bacon and waffles.

...
burning.
" Diego!!!" I run out of the bedroom and into the kitchen. the stove was engulfed in smoke.
I start to pull the pans off the stove and I throw them in the sink.
" WHATS GOING ON!!" Diego runs inside.
"oh yeah. I forgot I was making breakfast." he chuckles.
"for who? us or cavemen!!! GOD! HOW DID YOU MANAGE TO DO THIS." I say frustrated.
"babe chill... " he smiles.
" the house smells like actual ass now. thanks." I sarcastically say as I smile at Diego.
"your welcome baby" he grins and kisses me.
"oh so this came in the mail for you by the way." Diego throws an envelope on the counter in front of me.
"what is it?" I smile as I walk towards the counter.
"I don't fucking know I didn't open it. I aint that snoopy" he stuffs his face with a bagel.
I roll my eyes and smile as I open it.
"oh my god..." my hand trembles as it reaches to cover my mouth. I drop to the ground, shaking terrifyingly.
"madeline..!"
