did anyone notice the excerpt that was in the last chapter  of where Madeline was playing with her ring before lucas asked her to dance ? enjoy!

Madeline's POV

" you know what...." I feel tears fill my eyes. 

" no...diego..I was just wearing it..no...this isn't happening.." she starts to say. 

" no madeline. fuck you man. you don't want these fools to know your engaged to me? FUCK YOU!" tears fall from his face

" dude you need to chill! she was wearing her ring! I saw her playing with it before we went to dance!" lucas walked out and said. 

" who the fuck are you talking too?" Diego raises his voice. 

" Diego calm down..." I say pulling on his arm. 

" get your hands off of me! I don't want to marry you if your gonna portray yourself single" he shakes his arm out of my grip and walks back in the gym. 

" let me take you home....he'll calm down..." lucas puts his hand on my back in a friendly way. 

as we walked out to the car over the inner come from the school, someone announced.... 

" a ring has been found and is being held by the organizers of tonight ! if you are missing one, please come get it!" 

me and lucas looked at each other. 

" want me to go get it?" he asks. 

"nope. you heard the boy. he doesn't wanna marry me..." I say, getting in the car. 

Lucas looks at me concerned. 

" just take me home. I wanna go home..." I feel the tears uprising. 

Diegos POV

I ran to the office. 

" SHOW ME THE RING. I NEED TO SEE IT NOW!" I hated myself for not believing her. 

the man behind the desk looked at me. " hey, aren't you suppose to be out there singing?" he raises an eyebrow. 

" SHOW ME THE DAMN RING. " he showed me the ring. 

it was Madeline's. 

" thats my fiances ring.." I whisper. 

he asked for proof so I showed the picture I took of it when I first proposed.

as he gave it to me, I quickly packed my shit up and ran to the car. 

and then my phone buzzed.
