"babe calm down okay...breath..." Diego was trying his best to comfort me but right now, I just wanted to punch him in the face. 

"when are they gonna get here? do you think they know why we called them?" I asked, anxious to get this all over with. 

"babe. CALM YOUR FUCKING BALLS." he yelled while laughing. 

"MAYBE IF YOU WOULD'VE CALMED YOURS DOWN THAT ONE NIGHT WE WOULDN'T BE IN THIS SITUATION!" I yelled back. 

"I- bu- well- .... touché madeline. touché...." he leaned back In his seat. 

we were sitting in the parking lot of Texas Road House waiting for both of our families to get here so we could talk about everything thats going on.  I was kind of scared because when I called my parents, they were so unsure of coming and Diego's mom and dad  sounded aggravated since we planned it so soon. 

"babe. they're here. come on." Diego kissed my cheek before getting out the car and walking over to my side. he opened the door for me and waited patiently till I got out to shut the door.  Diego laced his fingers with mine as we all walked up to the door. 

"hey baby!" my mom said before wrapping me in a hug. my brother was even there, which makes this whole situation worse because I have no idea how he's going to react. 

"hey Madeline." Diego's mom gave me a small hug and comforting smile. 

"hello, I don't think we've met. I'm Diego's father." a tall man greeted me with a hand shake. 

"hello." I tried my best to smile and not sound so nervous. 

"so lets get a table then, shall we?" my dad said smiling as we walked into the restaurant. 

"so, what was this big emergency family meeting about?" my brother looked at me, as if he already knew. 

"y'all aren't...you know calling off the wedding are you..?" my mom asked worried. 

"what? no." me and Diego said at the same time. 

"then what is it???" Diego's mom looked at him. 

" can y'all not fucking patronize us. like this is already nerve wrecking enough." Diego mumbled while squeezing my hand tightly. I could tell he was getting angry and anxious. 

"how was um..eveyones Christmas?" I asked trying to calm the tension at the table. 

"madeline. whats this about." my dad glared at me. 

"im....im pregnant.." I whispered while looking down at Diego's hand holding mine. 

"you fucking bastard! I knew it!" my brother jumped from his chair and onto Diego, making him fall back in his chair. 

"get the fuck off of me!" Diego shoved him down on the table. 

"stop!!" my mom yelled. 

"mom! he's obviously been using her for the past how ever long! just to get her pregnant then leave her in he dust!"  my brother yelled. 

"that was never my intentional all! maybe when I first met her, I was just going to use her as a one night thing, I aint gonna lie! but I caught feelings for this girl! and I'm in love with her! literally, your fucking sister is my everything! don't say some bullshit like that or else I swear ill fucking kill-" 

"DIEGO!!" I felt tears form in my eyes. 

"im gonna have to ask y'all to leave..." the manager came up to the table. 

we all looked at each other and walked out the restaurant. 

"madeline...you have officially let us down..see we were on board with this whole marriage thing..but a baby..? you're not ready...and I don't support this..im sorry.." my mom said before shaking her head walking off. 

"you ever fucking threaten me again...so help me ...thats my little fucking sister. look, you've ruined her." my brother muttered in Diego's face with full hatred in his voice. he shoved Diego before walking away to his car. 

" ill talk to you later Madeline..." my dad came up to me and hugged me tightly before letting go and walking away , following mom. 

I couldn't hold the tears back anymore...I sat down on the curb and started to cry in the palms of my hands. 

"shh..its okay baby doll.." Diego's mom sat down next to me, wrapping her arms around me for comfort. 

I looked around the parking lot, my eyes searching for Diego, but I couldn't find him. 

but then I heard him and my brother yelling. 

Diego had my brother pinned up against the roof of his car, punching him repeatedly in the face. 

"DIEGO!!" I cried out while jumping up, but Diego's mom held me back. 

"go get your fucking son!" she yelled at Diego's dad.  he ran over to my brother and Diego and pulled Diego off of him. 

"get over here boy! your fiancé is over there crying, stressing herself and the baby out. and the best you can do is go after her brother? I'm so disappointed in you !" Diego's dad pushed him. 

"da-dad." Diego went to say. 

"No Diego!  you decided to make such grown up decisions like having a baby and getting married? you now gotta start acting like one!" Diego's dad pushed him once more, in my direction. Diego looked at me with pure sadness in his eyes once he saw me crying. 

"baby...." he pouted before sitting down next to me on the cold concrete. he wrapped is arms around me before leaving a kiss on my forehead. 

"THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!" I got up screaming at Diego. 

Diego's mom raised her eyebrow at me. Diego looked more hurt than ever before.

"no, if you didn't make me feel so obligated to keep this baby, WE WOULDNT BE IN THIS SITUSTION  NOW LOOK AT WHAT YOU DID. YOU MADE MY WHOLE FAMILY HATE ME. YOU RUINED MY LIFE DIEGO!" I yelled one last time before collapsing down on the concrete. 

"she's breathing.."

"take her straight into the ER"

"check for any signs of concussions"

"she's pregnant!! please make sure my baby is alright..." I heard diego cry from a distance.

"what happened?" I heard a man ask , but it sounded so muffled.

"we were arguing, and she just passed out on the concrete, she hit her head pretty hard..I kept saying her name.but she wasnt responding..thats when I saw the blood.." diego said, right before I heard doors slam shut.
