Trace lead me to my 6th period class which happened to be creative writing. Trace, his cousins, Ethan and Sage were all in the class as well. The teacher was really nice since he told me I could sit anywhere and to call him Mr. F cause I couldn't pronouns his real name. I decided to sit next to Trace because really that was the only open space. He gave the students a new assignment to get started on, and told me to write whatever I wanted. He just wanted to see where I was in my writing and how much work I had to do. I was happy with that, I had always written good horror stories. I had thought about just using one of my old stories that I had written back in Florida but then I thought of a really good beginning to a new story and I quickly began typing it up. I was almost finished when Trace whispered in my ear.
"Cool story, how'd you come up with it?" he asked but scared me, I jumped almost out of my seat.
"Damn it Trace you almost gave me a heart attack." I said going back to my story. He began to laugh.
"That's because you're writing the creepiest story I've ever read." He said still laughing.
"I've written scarier stuff then this." I said punching him in the stomach once again.
"Davenport what is going on over there?" Mr. F asked.
"Sorry sir I just scared Ronnie." He said as if it was nothing.
"Be quit and get back to work." Mr. F said as he looked back down to his paper work.
"Mr. F, Im done." I said just a few moments later.
"Ok Ronnie just print it out and bring it to me, I'll make sure to set you up an account so you can just drop your next assignments into the drop boxes tonight." He said. I printed my paper out and handed it to Mr. F, who dropped what he was going and began reading it. I went back to my computer to see that Trace hadn't even started his assignment.
"Have you not even started yet?" I asked sitting back down rolling my eyes also.
"I got done 20 minutes ago." He said giving me the duh look.
"Well I didn't know that." I said spinning my chair around and around in a circle.
Trace raised one of his eyebrows and said "Are you entertained." He laughed then turned back to his computer.
"Have you never tried this before?" I asked still spinning. I was weird; that's the impression I was giving him.
He just looked at me and I stopped spinning. I could see that he was on Facebook on that cheerleader's page.
"What is with everyone with that Blondie?" I asked his eyes showed more of interests as he looked at me.
"Ronnie, will you please come here." Mr. F said more than asked. I stood and walked over to his desk. Once I stopped at his desk he placed my paper on top of the giant calendar. His face gave off a worried/ frightened expression. He looked back at my story then looked at me and said.
"Well you're a very good and fast writer but the content of the story is..." he took a breather "it's completely irrational." He looked to me and raised his left eyebrow. I looked down to my boots and waited for him to say he didn't like it.
"I'm just joking, it's very interesting." He said. Yeah my story was interesting, that's what everyone says. I went back to my seat and Trace told me he does that every year to the newbies. A few moments later the bell rang and everyone rushed out of the room.
Sage showed me to the science building and introduced me to the Chemistry teacher, who said his name was something like Mr. Efaw. He looked like a whale that had been out of the water for six hours. He barely had any hair, and the hair he had was grey and combed to one side.
