I looked up at the large house in front of me. My new house, great I want to go back to Florida. Back to where my friends are, my old school, and my own home. This house just would never be the same, it was white and the outside was in desperate need of a paint job. My home in Florida was on the beach and when the sun was setting, it would cast a beautiful rainbow on the house. Now all that I would ever see are the stupid clouds. Stupid Washington why in the hell would anyone want to live here. It's too damn cold and all you see no matter where you look are those damn trees.

"Ronnie" I heard my older brother call my name. I honestly don't understand why my parents' named me that. Ronnie, Ronnie, Ronnie it's a damn boy's name.

"What do you want Milo?" I asked annoyed. Milo was the oldest in my family. He was a senior in high school, and back in Florida he was the captain of the football team, an A student and everyone wanted to be him. Secretly I looked up to him but I would never tell him that. He was usually nice to me when it was just us and his closest friends, but when we were at school it was like we didn't even know each other and that wasn't going to change just because we moved to the Vampire world.

"Mom says to stop staring at the house as if you want to burn it down and help bring in the boxes." He said

"Why does she even care, she'll be gone like three weeks every month, it not like she'll even live here." I said through my teeth

"Ronnie, you know mom hates having to go with Dave on those business trips all the time, just give her a break." He ruffled my long black hair and went to my car to get more boxes. That's the biggest thing I hated about moving here, having to drive from Florida to Washington. I didn't understand why Dave all wanted us here if he wanted to marry my mom so much then why couldn't he move to Florida in our house. It would be way easier; at least that's what I thought.

"Will you relax, and help me get the boxes, why is it that you have the most crap." He said

"Cause I didn't want the movers breaking anything of mine." I said more annoyed then before. I knew he rolled his eyes at what I said.

"Which room do you want?" He asked pulling a box out of my neon green Dodge Challenger.

"Wait, what you're letting me pick first, what's wrong with you?" I asked grabbing another box from the back seat.

"Just go and find your room I don't have all day." He said with a big smile while I walked to the open door. The house on the inside looked just like the outside. I wanted to throw up at the sight in front of me. I swear if I'm going to have to live here till graduation, I'm going to have to repaint and change the furniture completely and buy a TV for the living room unless mom brought the furniture from home. The walls were the ugliest brown you could find and the couch was a blood red. There was absolutely no coffee table to put my feet on, maybe mom brought hers. I could tell Milo was right behind me, I could always tell when he was near.

"Hey stop staring at the place and find your room so I can start unpacking my stuff." He said as he pushed me forward. I walked up the wooden stairs my black converse hitting every spot that creaked.

"Great I'll never be able to sneak out and run back to Florida." I mumbled under my breath

"Why would you run? You have a car." He whispered as a joke. I looked over my shoulder to see him giving me the duh look. I reached the first door and pushed it open. I gasped at the sight; it was ten times smaller than my room back in Florida.

"No, No, No, what the hell, did rats live here before us?" I said backing out of the room like there was a giant monster waiting to eat me.

"What not big enough for all your stuff?" he asked looking annoyed. I shook my head
