“Ronnie!” I heard my name being screamed from downstairs. It was Friday morning, early Friday morning. Early as in the sun hadn't even risen yet early. Milo came running into my room at half past 5 am screaming at me to get up and get ready. If I didn't know any better I would say my brother was happier than I to be going home. Our flight didn't leave until 9 am and as I ran around my room grabbing the last remaining items the clock on my desk ticked away the minutes slowly.

“Ronnie!” Milo screamed again

“Damn it Milo, if you scream my name one more time so help me!” I screamed through my opened door.

“We’re going to be late!”

“Milo its 6 am no we’re not, our flight doesn't leave until 9. We are fine.” I yelled “Now come get my suitcase.” It was quiet after that until Milo came stomping into my room. He grabbed my black metal suitcase and pulled it off my bed as I grabbed my straighter, IPhone, headphones, and my new neon green sunglasses and placed them into my batman hobo bag.

“Do you have everything now?” Milo asked. “You have your phone charger, your makeup, oh wait your earrings.”

“You’re an ass.” I said turning from my brother and walking into my bathroom. I grabbed the lace looking makeup container and the food container that held all my lip rings and earnings. I walked out of the room and back into my room.

“Thank god!!” Milo said as he turned and walked out of the doorway.

“I heard that” I said walking out seconds later and shutting the door behind me.

“You should have done this last night.” Milo spoke once I caught up to him by the stairs

“I know! Ashley called me and was asking a bunch of questions. She distracted me.”  I said as Milo pulled my black suitcase off my bed.

“I swear.” Milo said quietly under his breath.

“Heard that!” I said “Is mom still coming too?” I asked

“As far as I know of yes.” he said picking up my suitcase since it wasn't going down the stairs by itself. “You know you should give mom a break Ronnie, I know you’re still pissed at her but...”

“But what? Why you standing up for her, I mean she lied to you as well!”

“I know but everything is going to be way tenser if we’re all at each other’s throats.” He said “If it helps just don’t speak to her unless she speaks directly to you.”

“Thank god I have headphones that block out outside noise!” I said stepping off the last stair. I turned to see Milo on his phone.

“Ocean just texted, they already left about 15 minutes ago.” He said as we walked down the hallway to the front door.

“I don’t see why Lysander couldn't have just brought Ocean over here. We’re going to the same place.” I said turning the knob.

“I don’t know Ronnie. Lysander said he would take Ocean into Seattle and meet us at the airport.” My brother responded.

"I still don't see the point of that. Lysander could have said goodbye here and then the five of us could have taken one car. He's wasting gas." I said opening up the door.

"I don't think all of our stuff could fit into Dave's car."

"It would if we weren't taking the mustang." I said directed it right at Milo. “If we took my car it would.”

I knew he wanted badly to drive the mustang and since Dave told him he could drive it when we went into Seattle which didn't happen, he was today.

So here we are, trying to get all of us and our stuff into Dave's mustang.
