this story is tired, I'm gonna spice it up a little. (I high key got a lot of other shit to do BUT I'm not one of those authors who abandon a story and put ON HOLD, or something..then never update again. Nah, that's not me.)

Forest

Christopher dropped me and Brianna off back at Greg's house, I guess Bria was sad to come home..because when she hugged Chris she cried.

I asked if she was okay, but she didn't feel like talking. She hasn't been nice today, well..she's been nice to Chris. But not me.

When we got to the front of house, Noah, who was sitting on the porch greeted us. Bria ignored him so I did too.

"I missed you guys, where'd you go?" He asked us.

"Fuck off." Bria said to Noah. Ooh.

"Fuck off." I repeated.

Brianna smacked my hand and pulled me upstairs.

"You can't say that."

"Why?" I asked her. I know it's a bad word, but I can't at least say it to Noah?

"It's disrespectful."

"I have to respect him?"

I'm confused.

"It's not our house Forest, we have to respect everyone, ok?"

"Not ok." I mumbled.

"I beg your pardon?"

"I said ok Brianna!" I got mad. Usually she would get angry at me for talking back. But she just sighed and sat on the bed.

She put her face in her hands. I made her upset.

"Brianna." I called her. I knew she wasn't going to answer.

"Bria I'm sorry."

Bria ignored me, I get she doesn't want to be bothered. She stresses a lot, usually she wants to be alone.

I walked out of the room and began going downstairs. If she doesn't want me around then fine.

"Forest come back in here, I already told you that you need to stay by my side!"

I began running downstairs, soon afterward she jumped out of the bed to chase me.

I didn't know how to get away, so I ran outside, and saw Noah sitting on the porch.

"Woah woah woah where you running to kid?"

"Away!"

I tried to keep running but Bria ran out the house and grabbed the collar of my shirt.

"I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry I'm sorry-"

"Forest calm down. We're taking a walk."

"I'm sorry Bria I was-"

"It's okay Forest. Let's take a walk, ok?"

"Ok.."

We began walking down the sidewalk in Greg's neighborhood, she didn't seem angry like before. Now she was calm. I don't understand.

"Why did you try to run away from me?" She asked.

"I- you— you were being mean! You wouldn't talk to me! And...and you kept getting mad..and you only pay attention to Chris!"

"Forest I'm sorry. There's a lot that I have to worry about, and Chris helps relieve the stress. I don't want you to think I don't care about you." She told me as we continued to walk down the sidewalk.

"I wanna leave here Brianna." I said to her, talking about Greg's house.

"Me too kid. We'll be out soon though, and I'll be going to college here in Toronto..so we won't be far apart."

"That's what you always say. You always say it's gonna be fine but it never is!"

"Stop raising your voice, I know I've said it before, but I wouldn't lie to you..we'll be gone in a matter of weeks. Right after I get a job."

A job?

"You're gonna have to go work Bria?"

"If we ever want to leave, then yes."

"Oh...are you gonna work in a office?" I asked her.

"Hopefully not Forest. Offices are boring, you know?"

"Yeah."

Christopher

After dropping off Bria and Forest, I had to come straight back home, since I wasn't allowed to use the car.

Once I pulled up to my house I saw that there was another car there. Alex.

"What is this nigga back for..." I mumbled to myself.

I dug around my pocket for my key, but before I could find it the door opened.

"Come in, have a seat." He said to me, Alexander was on the couch, so I sat in the recliner.

"What's going on?" I asked my father. He didn't answer, instead he took a seat on the couch next to Alex.

"So, we have a lot to talk about."

"Ok?"

He took a deep breath and sighed.

"Alex and I decided we should work things out-"

"Wait wait wait. Work things out?! Didn't he just start shit when I was about to leave for Prom?"

"Watch your mouth! Seeing him then made me realize that he's my husband and it's not that easy to just go on in life without him! People make mistakes Chris, do I have to bring up the predicament you found yourself in?!"

"That's not the same thing. He cheated on you!"

"I told you we should've waited to tell him." Alex whispered to my dad.

"This is some bullshit! Do you not remember the things he said to you?!" I raised my voice.

"I told you already to watch your mouth! I'm trying to save my marriage and you're being disrespectful! Go upstairs, Chris. Now." My Dad yelled, getting more quiet with each word.

I did what I was told, on my way to the staircase I knocked over a picture frame causing it to shatter all over the floor.

"Christopher."

I ignored him and continued walking up to my room.
