I think I'll complete this story at 40 chapters, instead of 50. So like 14 more chapters?

Bria

Four o'clock. Christopher's Dad helped me with my dress while Forest was with Chris as he was getting ready. Trey's mother was on her way to pick Forest up from here, so we didn't have to worry about that.

"Ow!" I shouted as Christian zipped my hair in the zipper for the third time. I'd done my hair and makeup myself, I'd only been to the Sephora makeup girls once and they made my foundation look entirely too light. I can't look ashy on prom night.

"Oops...my bad." Christian said lowering the zipper and sipping it again.

"Ok, turn around." He insisted. I turned around and his eyes lit up.

"Ahh you look great! Do a spin." He added.

"I can not, spin in these heels. But thanks for the compliment."

"I just hope Chris looks at least presentable, I don't know if that boy even knows how to tie a tie." Christian laughed.

"I'm sure he's alright."

Chris

"Ugh this is impossible!" I mumbled, attempting to tie this stupid tie.

I thought I'd be excited for prom, up until I actually started getting ready for it. It just feels anticlimactic.

"Maybe you can just tape it on." Forest said as he was swinging his legs back and forth.

"I wish I could. It's almost time to leave though, do you know how to tie this?" I asked him, as a last resort.

"Hmm. I know how to tie my shoelaces." He smiled.

"Ah that's good, but not what I need."

Suddenly, there was a knock on my door. Shit.

"Yes?"

My dad came in and glanced at me. He shook his head and rolled his eyes.

"I knew it, you look a mess." He said coming to fix my tie. Forest laughed at the remark and continued swinging his legs.

"Your girlfriend is downstairs waiting for you." He said finally finishing the tie and sending me off.

"Come on Forest, let's go."

Forest followed me downstairs where I instantly met eyes with Bria. Now I could go on and on about how stunning she looked, but she would say something like "I know" and Forest would tell me something like "that's enough of that." Even still, I couldn't help myself.

"Daaaammmm- I mean..dannng." I said catching a glimpse of Bria's face.

"Oooh Chris said a curse!" Forest snitched.

"I heard that. Watch your mouth." My Dad said flicking my ear.

"Let's do pictures so we can go." Bria complained, wrapping her arms around my neck. She sounded just as un-thrilled as I was.

"Ok ok ok! Stand in front of the stairs you two." My dad basically shoved us to the stairs. I awkwardly placed my hands on Bria's hips, causing her to push me off of her.

"Stop being weird." She whispered, as we smiled for pictures.
