It was weird to think she had actually just willingly joined the Avengers. She had from the very beginning, made it a point to stay away from other heroes and to stay in the shadows. And yet here Kelsey was with a team of heros who had their faces plastered across every single damn news station across the world.

"Now that you have met the team it only seems right that you should test your abilities against some of your other teammates" Fury said gaining the attention of the team.

"Abilities?" Stark asked suddenly.

"You didn't know? I thought you knew everything?" Kelsey quipped back in response.

"Hey play nice." Steve whispered barely loud enough for Kelsey to hear him.

"Come on." Fury commanded and everyone followed after him like a pack of sheep following their shepherd. The group left the room and began to travel down the long hallways with Fury leading the way.

Kelsey walked alongside her supersoldier companion as they exchanged a small amount of chatter.

"So what are these super special abilities?" Mr. Stark asked falling into step next to Kelsey wedging himself between her and Steve.

Kelsey didn't even bother to acknowledge Tony or his question continuing to follow Fury. Tony was growing ever more annoyed at the fact that he'd been dissed for the fourth time. Reaching out he grabbed her shoulder tightly trying to jerk her back to face him.

"What's your problem with me?" He barked as his hand hit her shoulder. But as soon as his hand made that tiny bit of contact, Kelsey spun around shoving the millionare into the cold metal wall bringing something icy right up to his throat. Everyone's eyes were instantly drawn to the blade Kelsey had against Tony Stark's throat.

"My problem is the jarring fact that as soon as you announced yourself as Iron Man, the floodgates just burst open letting all the crazy out."

As soon as the last word slipped out of her mouth Kelsey pulled away from Tony and jogged to catch up with Fury who had ignored Kelsey's melodramatic display going into an open room. The rest of the team had been stunned especially upon seeing Kelsey's display.

"Are you guys coming or what?" Kelsey called from in the new room as if she hadn't just held a knife against one of her teammate's throats.

By the time the rest of the Avengers reached the room Kelsey was standing in the center of it, her hair was pulled out of the way while her grey cardigan and pink flats were in a heap in one corner of the room. She was stretching her limbs until she heard a pop from her back.

"Anyone care to spar?" Kelsey asked with a smirk.

"I shall take you up on your proposition Lady Kelsey." Thor said passing his comrades to stand slightly closer to Kelsey.

"Maybe we shouldn't put the new girl against the god." Clint pointed out though keeping his voice low so that Kelsey was unable to hear him.

"Nah let's watch." Tony said smugly wanting to see the girl get thrown around.

"I will try my best not to hurt you."

Kelsey smirked at Thor's words bring her body up into a defensive stance before her fist flew out in front of her. Kelsey lunged forward at a speed that caught all those who were watching her by surprise. She threw her fist into his stomach sending the god back sputtering slightly as he stumbled back from the force of her attack.

Thor realizing immediately that he had underestimated Kelsey, tensed his body to get into a proper fighting position. But it was too late for him, when he swung his arm out wildly to hit her but Kelsey was already steps ahead of him. She had dropped to the ground the second she'd picked up on his tensing muscles. Swinging one of her legs out she quickly swept Thor's legs out from underneath him dropping the god onto the ground. She jumped on top of him and held her fists right above of him igniting it in intense flames.

"Yield?" Kelsey asked with a smirk proud of how quickly she'd taken him down. Thor gave her a nod and Kelsey climbed off of him with a smirk.

"For those of you who don't know all of my abilities I have telekinesis, flight and a very mild elemental control primarily fire and air which I use to help me fly." Kelsey said as she held out a hand for Thor to help him off the ground.

"Anyone else want to go a round with me?" Kelsey asked curiously staring at the other members of the team.

"I will." Tony said stepping forward.

"Really?" Kelsey expression was coated in amusement as she crossed her arms.

"How about we make a bet? If I land a hit on you, you have to give me a chance." Tony asked as he kicked off his shoes cockily.

"Hell, what do I have to lose?" Kelsey asked herself aloud stretching her arms behind her back.

Taking a few steps backwards, Kelsey pulled her body back into a defensive position before wagging her hand at Tony daring him to attack her. And he complied, swinging his foot towards her in a roundhouse kick she used her arms blocking the shot before shoving him away from her. But as soon as she knocked him back she heard her phone start to go off. Turning to look at where her phone was she heard a whooshing sound, she looked back only to see Tony's fist hit her cheek.

Kelsey was knocked right off her feet her butt hitting the ground and she looked up at Tony in shock.

"Haha fuck, I forgot to silence my phone."

Rubbing her jaw, Kelsey stood back up and looking at Tony Stark who stood there looking proud as ever. Cracking her neck she swung at him and her fist connected with his chin sending him flying backwards too.

"Fuck! What was that for?" Tony asked rubbing his jaw from where he sat on the floor.

"I felt like it." Kelsey said before bending down taking Tony's hand and pulling the man off the floor before slipping her hands into the pockets of her jeans.

"Guess I have to give you a shot now don't I?" Kelsey said cracking her knuckles.

"Yes, yes you do."  He said with a smirk.

"I'll try I can't guarantee anything though."

With her words, Kelsey extended a hand out to Tony, he took it and they shook each others hands firmly.
