"Hey guys guess who I picked up?!" Clint said as he turned the corner to where the rest of the Avengers were, bickering away as always.
"Miss me?" Kelsey said rounding the corner only seconds later.
"Eyyy kid, long time no see!" Tony shouted with a smile being the first one to move to Kelsey's side hugging her tightly.
"Good to see you too old man." She said hugging him back tightly for a minute before pulling away only to be met by an offended expression across Tony's face.
"Old man? Me?? Your best friend is almost a century old."
"Hey leave me out of this." Steve called out before approaching the pair with a smile.
"Good to have you back, Kels." He said opening his arms to her. With a big smile Kelsey, practically dove into his arms hugging him tightly.
"Good to be back Stevie." She said into his chest. Pulling away from the man out of time she repeated the process of hugging the rest of her teammates; Natasha, Bruce and even getting a bone crushing hug from the mountain of a god Thor.
"Now that Lady Blackburn has returned we can begin the hunt for the Scepter." Thor said getting right down to business after the pleasantries were finished.
"Wait, wait hold up. The scepter? As in your brother Loki's scepter, that scepter?" Kelsey said her eyes growing wide.
"Yes."
"What happened? I thought SHIELD had the Scepter?" Kelsey questioned looking over at Natasha and Steve.
"Hydra stole it."
"They stole it?!" Kelsey shouted in disbelief.
"Yes, and since SHIELD no longer exists, we as the Avengers are the ones who have to get it back. There's no telling what Hyrda might do with a weapon with such power." Steve said putting an arm on Kelsey's shoulder .
Running her hand through her now free hair, Kelsey let out a tired sigh.
"Okay let's get to it. What's the plan?"
"I'm glad you ask Kels." Steve said with a smile nodding to Tony for him to take the lead.
