Hey guys, its me! I just wanted to do a mini public service announcement, this chapter is going to have some very dark subject matter suggested/implied (self-harm, mental illness, suicide) so please be advised.

If you don't want to deal with the more darker aspects then stop after the the second "NOOO!" otherwise thank you for coming bye.

And for those who do in fact deal with mental illness I want you all to know you are NOT alone in your struggles and do not be afraid to ask for help. There are people and resources here for everyone.

Thank you, Total/MaruadersHeart

Her world had shifted in a quick haze, one second she was in the makeshift hospital bed in Stark Towers, the next she'd stumbled weakly on her feet nearly falling to the ground as an overwhelming pain pierced her side.

Leaning against a crumbling stone wall that scrapped her hand as she slid slightly, Kelsey felt a heavy fatigue and nausea overwhelmed her senses. Looking up she realized she was in a city falling to ruin as explosions and gun fire rained in the distance.

The air was paper thin and every single breath she took felt like she was being stabbed hundreds of times over and over again.

What had happened? Where was she?

Looking down at her clothes she realized she was in her Avengers uniform, and it was torn, coated in dirt and blood. This wasn't good, this wasn't right.

Everyone of her senses screamed in agony as flashbacks from New York invaded her head.

Alone in the alleyway, Kelsey looked up once again spotting a familiar face in the distance.

It was Clint!

As she opened her mouth to call out to him, she saw him pull a small child into his arms. A loud roar and hail of bullets began to tear at the ground heading directly towards her teammate. Looking to the sky she spotted the quinjet, surely it would stop.

Wouldn't it?

If it didn't stop, the bullets coming from the jet would hit Clint.

Why wasn't it stopping?!

Kelsey went to leap forward only to be halted by a stabbing sensation in her knee that sent her crashing to the ground.

"Clint!" She screamed reaching out in an attempt to use her powers to save him but nothing happened. She was helpless to save her friend.

The bullets were seconds away from hitting him, when a silver blur zipped by Kelsey flying towards Clint as it kicked up clouds of dust.

It all happened in a split second, everything went so fast. Just as the bullets were about to hit Clint a car came out of nowhere blocking the bullets from hitting him or the boy. But then a man appeared beside the car his body was riddled with bullets.

"You didn't see that coming?" The words echoed all the way towards where Kelsey lay floundering on the ground.

"NOOOO!" The scream ripped through her vocal chords as the man dropped to the ground lifelessly.

"Noooo!" Kelsey shouted shooting up from her bed, heart pounding against her rib cage. Her clothes were coated in sweat as she struggled to breath it was like her lungs were failing her.

Another one, it felt so real didn't it? Now isn't that curious?

"S-Shut up!" Kelsey gasped and shuttered unable to suck in a full breath for more than an uneasy second, she didn't need Constantina in her head not right now.
