Finally I have a day off tomorrow and I'm ready. Going through my mail I notice that there's a letter addressed to me. It looks like the same one from last week. I open the envelope and I think they have the wrong person besides, Kim is a very common name anyway. These fake letters are starting to get on my nerves. After throwing another letter away, I went to pick up Dae's gift. I'm going to commit to her. I wanted to show my commitment so I thought a promise ring would be better than flowers. I'm going to ask her to be my girlfriend. After talking to Lee and Mike, I have finally made my decision to stick to the plan. I think in America I'm supposed to propose to make it official with a promise ring. I took the ring out the box and made sure to look at the detail.

I hope she likes it, I'm not good at picking out jewelry for women. I know she likes simple things but, I want to spoil her from time to time. Trying to think of the right words to say, I check my watch and see that it's time for me to head to work. I get a call about a new autopsy that I have to do but, it's downtown. I get in my car and head off to the lab.
After a long morning at work, Dae and I made plans to have lunch together at Buddies. I know it's her favorite coffee shop. I think this will be a great place to confess since it means so much to her. I remember when we played games all night after the Gala. She made me laugh and I felt, in that very moment, I couldn't live without her. As I head out the door, I made sure I had my wallet. Once I get in my car, I head down the road to meet my girlfriend to be. I started to get anxious when I thought about how she is going to respond when I ask her to date me.
I arrived at Buddies and I'm greeted by the waiter. She takes me to a table on the patio outside near the window which is nice. For some reason, I have the feeling that someone is following me but, I knew I was parnoid since I was so nervous. The tea here is really good so I ordered a cup as I waited for Dae to show up.

Looking at the menu, I was trying to decide on what to order. My thoughts were interrupted as I received a text message from Dae telling me that she is on her way. I'm glad that Buddies is close to work just in case I'm late getting back.
