Dae's POV (Mike above)

Dr. Park and I were ready for the final case for the competition. Our fingers were crossed hoping that it would be success. Jin made a reservation for me to go to the spa as an apology but I decided to go back home after my massage. He was determined to assure me that he was sorry. Each message that he left on my voicemail became harder to listen to.

The last few messages that he left caused him to cry out his feelings. Although Todd and Ri told me I could stay as long as I wanted, deep down, I wanted to be back home with Jin. When I came back home, Jin was still on the couch balled up under the covers. Standing behind him, I pulled the blanket back and there he was.

Laying on the couch with his head resting on his hands, I took a moment to look at him. Walking around the couch, his chest continued to raise and fall. His face was stained with tears on cheeks. Although I was at Ri's house for two days, it was obvious that he has been crying. Wiping the tear that ran down his face, I kissed his eyes and covered him with the blanket.

Before looking over the final case again, Jong called me to confirm the two minor surgeries tomorrow

Before looking over the final case again, Jong called me to confirm the two minor surgeries tomorrow. Of course these were the most common surgical procedures veterinarians perform are spaying and neutering. The first was spaying, which removes the ovaries and uterus of a female pet and the second procedure was scheduled for neutering. Dr. Park would cringe every time we had to remove the testicles.

A few hours later

Waking up, I heard pounding noises coming from the other room. Thinking to myself, I thought that Jin must be hanging pictures on the wall. Getting up from the warm bed that cocooned me with softness, my body felt the cold air hit my skin. I was cold and hungry since I came back home. Before I walked in the other room,  I knocked on the door that was wide open. Jin turned around with a hammer in his hand.

"What are you doing?"

"I'm making a tree house for the baby."

"Jin-ssi. How can a newborn play in a tree house? We're living in your condo."
