During my ultrasound, Jin started to cry when we found out the sex of our baby. However, I felt guilty for having a baby that was healthy because my first baby didn't survive. The chance to meet my first baby was taken from me. What if I'm not a good mother? This was a constant question that weighed heavy on my mind.
Getting ready for the baby shower, I wasn't feeling good at all. Celebrating a life while grieving over another caused me to have mixed emotions. Feeling my unborn baby moving inside my womb, tears started cloud my vision. When I walked to the balcony, I needed some fresh air before going to the party downstairs. Jin knocked on the door and came in to see if I needed help getting dressed. I had on a black shirt and the dress Ri brought was too small.

He gave me a note from Ri which read:
Message from Ri:
Hey mother to be!! Everything is set and I made sure that you had two tables and another one for gifts and presents. I want you to enjoy yourself and NO STRESS!! This is a joyous occasion for you and Jin. We're ready for your grand entrance and we can't keep Mike away from the marinated chicken much longer :)
"Are you ok?" Jin asked when I gave him the note back.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I was deep in thought."
Embracing me in a warm hug, Jin assured me that I didn't have to worry about our finances. He's been so supportive since my license was revoked. Ri was furious and threatened to quit when I went back to my office to get my belongings. Jong was emotional but he took a few days off. He wasn't there when Ri and I were cleaning out my office.
Forcing a smile, Jin and I went downstairs and Becca arranged the setup. Serene helped Ri with the decorations and games. The garage set up was really nice and it cheered me up watching Becca care so much about the baby shower. We were so excited to become parents but, loosing my license was something that was unexpected. Jong and Ri wanted to do their own investigating and assured me that I had nothing to worry about.

Looking at the decorations that were set up and everyone was so happy to be here, Jin smiled at me. This looks so much better than the picture's I sent Jin. Games were fun watching everyone trying to suck down baby bottles and trying to watch the men compete against each other. Slim came and spoke to Jin from time to time. He was very nice and I didn't feel uncomfortable around him. It felt like he had a smooth presence and watching him interact with Jin, it was obvious that they were close.
